OK, so I finally got my dress this weekend. I was hoping to find a white dress to order, but fell in love with a discontinued style that was in diamond white. I purchased it and took it home. Now the dillema, I was going to use Hot Pink, Black, and White as my colors, but now that I have a diamond white dress and have colored my hair back to natural (brown with very red undertones) my Fiance and i are considering switching our color to red. My BMs have not bought their dresses yet, there are just a few things I would have to change. I am just afraid that when we take the pics outside my bright red hair will not look good against their hot pink dresses and that the diamond white will look dull or stained.
Any thoughts bees?

Honestly? I don’t think it will matter. You’re not trying to match your hair to the dresses. I think hot pink sounds awesome and I also don’t think the diamond white will look dull next to them.

I honestly don’t think white and diamond white are that much of a difference. My dress is diamond white and I am having all white flowers and my flower girls will be in white. I think your colors will look amazing. And so many people use white, I think hot pink is really pretty.

If you only have a few things to change, then do whatever you want to feel most excited & happy about the wedding! But once the BMs buy dresses, I feel you’re locked in… Good luck & have fun! 🙂

I think either combination will be beautiful and neither will look bad. If pink was your preference, I don’t think there is a problem sticking with it, but if you really want to change it, I think that will look great too!

I agree, white and diamond white are very similar. I’ve got an ivory dress and my wedding is black white and green.. try googling ivory and white wedding, and you will find some beautiful pictures!
If you like your original scheme stick with it. If you want to switch to red, make it a red that is markedly different from your hair.

LOL I had this EXACT same problem…I was going to wear a hot pink birdcage veil and 1940s vintage style makeup, a friend of mine pointed out that the red lipstick will totally clash with the pink. But as long as the red and pink aren’t tounching (ie YOU are wearing the pink) it should look fine. Besides I don’t think red would clash any less than hot pink. I think we brides tend to over think these things…try searchin Bing for wedding photos with hot pink…
I’m not sure if your hair is this color, but it sounds like it and she’s wearing hot pink…http://i.b5z.net/i/ui/127350/i/Hot_Pink_Home_Page_sized.jpg
See how this bride’s hair has red undertones, but the pink shoes and flowers don’t clash…I think you’ll be fine with hot pink…
