I only change my pants at the gym. Everything else gets changed at home before I go and when I get home.

I’m okay with being naked for a short time while I change.  It’s not like the other people in the locker room are checking out your naked body or anything.  I honestly don’t even think about it at all when I change.

I find the ones who parade around naked are the last ones I want to see naked!  Kinda like nude beaches too.

Sorry for anyone who selected A in the poll, I am not referring to you.

I’m a bra and panties girl. and If it came to being naked, I’d much prefer topless than bottomless.

I’ve become a master of changing without having to be naked for more than like a second. And I do it in sections. So I will put my sports bra on over my bra, then take my bra off…so it’s a system to be naked as little as possible.

Then, after I’ve changed, I shower there (it’s a gym at my workplace), so I change back into my work clothes in the private shower area.

I do find it kind of awkward though when there are women walking around completely naked. Not only b/c it’s just plain awkward to walk naked in front of a stranger, but it’s in front of people you work with. Just plain weird for me…

I’m pretty comfortable but don’t walk around naked and don’t really like to shower at the gym. Some women at my gym just wander around naked – sometimes I understand why (showing off, if you know what I mean) and sometimes I don’t…haha.

It doesn’t really bother me. It’s not like I loiter around naked, but I don’t think twice about doing a quick change either.

I used to be shy but 4 years on a high school swim team changes that pretty quickly.  After swimming I don’t have a problem changing and can do it without a whole lot of flashing but I don’t worry about it either.  Bottoms off, pull on swimsuit, top off, swimsuit the rest of the way up and vice versa.

One evening I was in there and there was just one other (teenage) girl.  I knew she wouldn’t be comfortable if I stripped down so I gave her a few minutes while I got the rest of my stuff ready.  You’d think since her friends had already gone out and she was just texting she would have moved along but no.  So I finally just took my pants off and she cleared out so quickly!  It cracked me up.

I refuse to let my insecurities become an inconvenience.  I try not to just stand there naked drying my hair or something, but I am not careful at all about avoiding flashing people and will walk naked into the shower rather than getting my clean towel all sweaty covering up.  Bodies are just not that big a deal to me.

@caitlanc: I asked my husband about this and he told me this one time there were ‘kids’ sitting in the locker room texting. He gave these kids sometime to finish texting or whatever.  Finally, he said he couldn’t wait anymore and just stripped down in front of them.  I was in shock, when he said kids, I was thinking 8 years olds, so I’m thinking he might have scarred some kids for life.  He then explained that these kids were  in their twenties, like college or high school age.  Ohhhh!!!  I have no idea why my husband who is 28 calls college aged adults ‘kids.’ Ummm, honey, these kids are only 8 years younger than you! lol

My gym has little changing cubicles, so I’m kind of of the mind that why WOULDN’T you just change in there.  I voted changing in the bathroom, since that seemed the closest option.
