Well, I wonder if I'm choosing a "trendy" or "different" song that I'll regret down the line when I talk to our kids about the wedding and they hear the song. Maybe we should go with something more classic. I love "At Last" but it's used so much that it's the reason why I stayed away from stuff like that. Idk though, I love "Chasing Cars" the song came out when we started seeing each other a few years ago and it just brings back happy memories. We call it "The Summer of Love :]" The FI says "Chasing Cars" a very emo kind of song, but he's uncool and I don't think he knows what EMO really is..hehehe..
But you definately don't want lovesong?

eh.. i like Lovesong.. I think I might switch it to that if only because i know the FI and I both like it as opposed to "Chasing Cars" which i like more than he does.. He actually said that was his song to me.. "Lovesong" (the one by the cure though) but ya.. I think i'm going with that instead..
You seem hesitant? I think it's good to both agree on the song though if it's meaningful to you both instead of just one so I'd be a bit not for chasing cars if he doesn't really feel it. But same goes for lovesong. For us there was no song that was incredibly us so we just chose one that came up early in our relationship and we both liked.
We found it really hard to decide on a song. Everything he wanted, I hated. Everything I wanted, he hated. We have somewhat come to an agreement tentatively on When you say nothing at all, but Ronan Keating.
It's hard though when you both just can't agree. I love Chasing Cars! It's a beautiful song.
I think both are really beautiful songs. We're dancing to a totally trendy non-wedding song, and I don't care if it's relevant in 20 years, lol. Most everything we do now will seem old fashioned by then anyway.

we're doing "Chasing Cars" and the deciding factor was a game of Rock/Paper/Scissors the fiance lost.. His 1st choice was "Lovesong" .. lol.. I know, very silly.. but we love both songs equally.. though now i'm having second thoughts about the song! ... agh!
