@bestbuddies:  The only thing I know of is to have the administrators delete your account and then open a new one.  🙁

There is no way to change your user name (unfortunately).

You can start a new account and stop using this one, but you can’t change it.

Sorry, we don’t have the ability to change your user name.  You would have stop using this name and create a new one.  We don’t have the ability to transfer your post count to your new name either. Yeah, it does kinda suck.

Oh, the mods can delete some pictures of you in your posts but they can’t delete everything. Here are some criteria on requesting deletions. http://support.weddingbee.com/topic/read-before-requesting-deletion

Yea, you’d have to open a new account. PLUS- weddingbee won’t delete your old posts. so even if you make a new account, all of your old stuff still shows up. I’m really surprised they haven’t changed their ‘deletion policy’ and to be honest- it’s really been making me angry lately!!!!!! Like you, I didn’t know that just anyone could go and find my posts. I know it was stupid to not have figured that out before I posted, but still, it’s really annoying.

I want to change mine for a much shallower reason-just hate it. And even though it does totally suck, maybe it’s worth starting over just to get your real name out of this corner of cyberspace.

I am post-name change and very happy.  I was almost to 1000 posts with the original which made me a little sad when I started over and sometimes I want to say, remember my post “blah blah blah”?  But in general my new anonymity and greater awareness about what I post makes me feel a lot more comfortable.  I did have specific picture posts deleted from my original account 2…about 6 in total.

I wouldn’t have known it was your full name… until you told me so. 🙂

I started over again. My old user name was just too easy to find and I released too personal of info. ugh. I wish you could delete more things…

Mine’s not too bad, though it is my surname with a bit added on, but I just think it wont be my surname for too much longer lol so I can probably live with it. I did think about starting again, but now when I post things I crop the heads off the photos and I’m careful what I comment on.

I agree, I had no idea what weddingbee was really when I signed up or I would have chosen another name.  Even though my count isn’t that high I would hate to lose it.
