I like it with the hoop.  The overlay on the dress seems a little too large without it.

I also prefer it with the hoop.

What a beautiful dress. It’s so cool that it is older but still looks great, and how lucky that you get to wear it!

with the hoop is really pretty, but i kind of like it without! πŸ™‚ I’m a little plain like that and not a big fan of poofy! but either way, the dress is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!

I vote hoop… I think it makes the overlay hang so much better.  Plus it’ll be nice to have all that leg room under your dress!

I like the hoop! Is that really your grandmother’s dress? That’s amazing!! I couldn’t wear my grandmother’s dress even if she still had it… I’ve got about half a foot on granny. πŸ˜‰

I think the dress lays better with the hoop.  If you want something in between though, consider finding a medium-fullness slip instead.
