I did read that post, but I thought I would add my own to see if there were any other opinions. Thanks for the advice about the special!
I forgot to say that I would rather have some contrast in the colors, with the groomsmen in either lighter or datker greay.
So there is nothing wrong with dark gray bridesmaids, and lighter gray groomsmen? Anyone see any pictures of this?
I haven't seen any pics, but I think that it would look perfectly fine.
I normally would say have the men in darker suits because I like the look.

but for a June wedding lighter grey suits on the men would be fine.

I think the different colors look just fine together. The girls will have colored flowers or something I'm assuming so add a splash or color. They could also potentially wear some colored jewllery. I think the grays are so nice.
Did you decide to go with charcoal bridesmaids and light gray suits? I am thinking of the same colors. My girls are ordering charcoal from alfred angleo and i think i want my fiance in a charcoal suit and all the groomsmen in light grey suits. My girls are all wearing different styles of Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses in charcoal gray. My fiance wants to wear gray, as well as his groomsman. Will having a dark gray on the girls clash with gray on the guys? Should it be darker? Lighter? He is also thinking about having the guys buy suits.....anyone have any experience in that? (He thinks it's better spent $ since you have to spend so much to rent for one day) Here are 2 of the dresses the girls got:
