First off, he is neutered?  If not, schedule it today.  If you can’t afford it, talk to an animal shelter or something like that.  This can drastically help.  There was a whole post on here with someone in your same situation and finally after about 50 posts from people saying to get the dog neutered she did and it helped.  You also should get your female pit fixed as well.  This will help a lot with the agression.

What type of exercise/stimulation does the male dog get?  If he doesn’t have enough, thats a big reason why he may be high strung.  The other post mentioned a backpack for the dog to carry while they walked him so that he would get tired faster (its hard to wear out German Shepards).

Best wishes,

Here is the thread caszos mentioned and here is another with a few ideas on how to tire your dog out.  Taking care of this now will definitely be a lot easier than trying to manage it years from now when he’s set in his ways.  Good luck and I hope it works out for you guys!
