That's a good idea, but how about getting them a charm bracelet and one charm for the wedding but it be from a collection they can themselves purchase additional charms from and keep adding to thru the years?
I know pandora makes sterling ones. Less expensive than gold.
I am not seeing actual CHAIN Charm bracelets on Pandora - just the string ones and I dont love those...all the charms would gather...I like the feel of the old charm bracelets. One of my friend's mom has one that she has had for 30 years and has collected (as you said) charms throughout the years from all over the world. I LOVE it and think it is so special, everyone always asks her about it and what each one means - they all have a story...very special.

Hi Ladies!
So - I am trying to do something memorable and useful for my bridesmaids gifts. I have come across a couple ideas that I like but I am still open for more suggestions. The best idea that I like so far are charm bracelets. I want to get them each one with like 3 charms on it - one to symbolize the wedding, one to symbolize our friendship, and maybe thier birthstone or something along those lines. I am having trouble finding the basic bracelet to start with though. I have looked on etsy (maybe not enough) but I can't find JUST the bracelet to start. I figured I would order those and pick up the charms along the way. I want something nice, sterling silver, nothing cheap. Something sturdy that will last forever. Any ideas?!
