With charting you can’t focus on one temp. Spike, you need to look at the whole picture, by no means should you give up, I would guess that a few bees will tell you to chart for a few months so you can understand your cycle. Look at the bigger picture πŸ™‚ drinking can cause a spColds getting a cold, wrestles nights sleep, coffee before bed, adding an extRa blanket πŸ™‚ keep it up lovely πŸ™‚

Yeah, you still just look like you’re pre-O to me. Today’s high temp is probably not accurate (for who knows what reason), and isn’t worth trying to figure out. Trends are important, not individual temps. Keep going and it will make a whole lot more sense. And next month, you can overlay that chart and this chart and you’ll start to see bigger patterns. I think everyone feels overwhelmed and confused when they start, but if you keep going, you will learn a lot more. Good luck!

@Utopia4us:  It’s definitely not useless.  I just literally can’t take my temp at the same time.  I don’t sleep well at times and I work shifts, so the time I take my temp is after at least 3 hours of solid sleep, but almost never at the same exact time of day.  I still get clear ovulation patterns.

I’m guessing that what’s throwing you off is the high temp at the beginning more then anything.  Keep in mind that many ladies experience higher temps during or just after AF leaves.  Keep up the temping and you’ll start to get an idea of what’s normal for you!  πŸ™‚

Your chart looks pretty normal to me.  Just keep taking your temps and plugging them in and FF will take care of the rest.  I never take my temp at the exact  same time, just whenever I first wake up in the morning — usually between 5 and 7 am, whenever it happens to be.  It doesn’t make much difference, as long as I have slept soundly.  There are always a few odd temps every month, too.  Nothing to worry about.
