I always had a dip at 6 or 7 dpo, pregnant or not. There’s a second surge of some hormone (estrogen maybe?) around that time that causes the dip. And I almost always had sore boobs and mood swings in the two week wait. It seems pretty unlikely that you’d be pregnant from the “finish” on cd 10 or the non-finishing tries – but crazy things sometimes happen. I wouldn’t get my hopes up though. Fingers crossed anyway!

MsYankee:  Bodies are weird! Is this your first cycle charting/TTC? I think sometimes we notice things more when we start paying attention to them – like when I started charting it finally clicked for me that my “random” migraines always came the week after ovulation. I know spotting is hard to miss 😉 but maybe you always get sore boobs around O time and it’s just that you’re noticing it now? Or maybe it’s just regular old bodies do crazy things. 🙂

The cycle I finally got pregnant (after two years of trying, no less), we only DTD once during my fertile window.  I thought we had zero chance as well.

I never had spottting while TTC until the month I got my BFP, but I can’t tell you how many times I had “pregnancy symptoms” and thought I was, only to have AF show up right on time.  I NEVER noticed sore boobs before my period, for example, until we first started trying.  One cycle, (about a year before I actually got my BFP), I was even more emotional than others, and thought it was finally it…nope.

Your succesful BD session and your O date are also pretty far apart.  Not unheard of for fertilization, but definitely on the rare side.

    Good luck to you!

Honestly, your timing makes the chances of a BFP so very slim, I would not get your hopes up. I’ve been trying for 9 months now and have had seriously almost every pregnancy symptom in the book. Not to bring you down hard, but really, adjusting your expectations before you see AF is easier.
