TTC/TTA: TTA for one more month- so close eek!
CD/DPO: CD175… on Zoladex for endometriosis, which stops my periods.
Cycles TTC/Charting: TTC for 12 cycles , on my 7th month on TTC pause. I charted 9 cycles before starting Zoladex, which makes charting irrelevant.
Age: Me: 32 Darling Husband: 39
POAS/AF Date: My final Zoladex injection should be out of my system by the end of November, so I expect AF anywhere from the beginning of December and the end of January. Fingers crossed for the beginning of December:)
BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Severe endometriosis. I’ve had 2 laproscopies, one prior to TTC and one after TTC unsuccessfully for a year. My second one revealed that my Endo had become so severe that they couldn’t get it all on one surgery. I was put on Zoladex to heal and reduce the regrowth of my Endo until I could have another surgery to remove the rest. Since Zoladex puts you into fake menopause I haven’t been able to TTC since March. My final (7th!) Zoladex injection is scheduled for October 29th. My surgery is scheduled for November 24th. It takes an average of 6 weeks for your period to start after Zoladex so hopefully we’ll be TTC again in December- finally!! I’ve started taking my pre-natals again recently, along with Co-Q10. Almost there!! I can’t even describe how excited I’m getting. I’m starting to feel like I did before we started trying the first time- super giddy and optimistic.
Link to Chart: soon ladies, soon… my thermometer and FF are calling me…
Random Question: How many states/countries have you lived from the time you were born? Feel free to mention them if you want.
I’ve lived in southeast Michigan my entire life. I grew up in the Flint metro area and have spent most of my adult life in the Detroit metro area, though I did live in NW lower MI for a year. I’ve been lucky enough to visit about 15 other states (gotta love work conferences) and 4 countries though: Canada, (obviously, since I’m in S.E. MI, around here we feel like it doesn’t even count as visiting another country since it’s so close, it’s more like another state), Costa Rica, Ireland and Scotland. Darling Husband and I have been moderately serious in discussing how we could move to Scotland ever since visiting.
For the poll: I chose other since I don’t really have a favorite pie. I’m more of a cake fan myself, though recently pies have been growing on me. I didn’t like pie at all until I started making them myself, since Darling Husband is a HUGE pie fan. I got a homeade crust recipie from my aunt, and cobbled together some recipies from her and ones I found online (I love to bake and often play with recipies) to make pie for DH’s birthday one year and it’s kinda my thing now. Apparently I did something right since I’m now the pie queen of my family. They actually get upset if I don’t make at least one for every family get together:) It’s nice, but exhausting. I have fibromyalgia and making pie crust is not fun, since it makes my hands ache really badly, but it’s worth it to see the smiles on my family’s faces.
I still refuse to eat store bought pie, it’s just not worth the calories for me. My favorite pies I’ve made so far are cherry and apple. The trick is to use tart charries and granny smith apples, don’t overcook the fruit. If you want recipies you can PM me. I’d share my crust recipie but it’s really something that has to be seen to get right. My aunt actually made me drive 2.5 hours up to her house so she could show me how to make it properly before she’d give me the recipie!
