    Ladies -

I am making a new thread for this - http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/ttc-charters-of-the-hive-unite - as this conversation is so awesome we have outlived our original space.  Please use this thread to continue asking questions, sharing advice, and posting your charts.  Best of luck to all of you in your TTC journey!

Awesome!  We needed a new one.

Temp stayed up at 97.7 for me today so definite O.  Now to try to avoid symptom-delusions : )

I have a question for you charters sparked by my experience with CBEFM.  Do you charts, OPKs and/or fertility monitors always line up?  I felt that the CBEFM was off, but I only charted with it for 2 or 3 months, then I ditched the monitor.

What about the rest of you?

@Mrs Green Grass:  YES!  I had a hunch that was coming.

I don't use the CBFM, but I have heard a lot of people say that it doesn't match up with OPKs.  I like to POAS, so OPKs are good enough for me.  :o)  (Did I say "like"? I meant I am somewhat obsessive about it...)

@ecomaha - If you had EWCM too, I think it's a real O spike.  Today's temp is still high too.  But if you don't trust it, just keep BDing!

@ecomaha: I generally agree with GreenGrass, but it will really depend what your temps and CM do the next couple of days.  I am not sure that you O'ed yet (or maybe you just did), so keep up those OPKs and your BDing!

In the spirit of the new thread can we take a second to re-introduce ourselves and our stories.  I forget who is where/doing what and it seems that a few of us are pretty regularly on this thread.

    Hey again, all!

    Me: 26

    DH: 32

TTC: This is our 12th cycle. No meds, chemical pregnancy in March, miscarriage in September.

My first period post-MC just ended, so now we're waiting to (hopefully) ovulate again. I know some docs say you should wait another full cycle or two, but we're ready and eager to start trying again. I feel like we've been trying too long to take time off.

@Mrs Green Grass:  and  @septcabride:   Ugh!  It's just so hard to tell!  And probably more frustrating that you have to wait til the next few days, or after the fact to know.  I wonder if anyone else has trouble with the Wandfo's working.  I thought I had heard such good things about them!  We only got to BD on Monday night and Wednesday morning so I'm praying if I did O that that will be enough :/

Oh and I usually don't chart my CM bc for me it is really not that much so I feel like I'm always guessing when I do!

Me - 30, DH - 31.  Off BCP since May, 4 cycles actively TTC.  Think cycle 5 just started...  No meds, but probable endo diagnosis (I have not had the lap yet, but all scans and ultrasounds are clear).  Charts:  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/352a3e

@ecomaha: I don't chart my CM either, except EW.  When I get that it's obvious.  The rest is so hard to tell.

@ecomaha: yay for someone else with a somewhat older husband!  I know 39 is not "old" (although I kind of think 42 is) but my major TTC pressure is DH's age.

@Mrs Green Grass:  I know! :)) Luckily for them age doesn't really matter! ;)  Have you tried anything to increase your CM?  I'm trying green tea and grapefruit juice but honestly, I don't think I've seen much of a change, other than just making me feel better for trying something :)

Shoot!  Now I'm starting to worry that we might have missed the O.  I know worrying will get me no where but I can't help it!  Dang it!

@ecomaha: A few months ago I did green tea.  This month I did coffee : )  I don't really feel like doing anything major i.e. vitamins or mucinex unless a doctor tells me to, but maybe that's stupid.

For me I worry until I know for sure that I've O'd.  Then I worry about whether or not we timed it right and if it worked.  I TRY to not think about it after checking my temp for the day.

Does anyone know how Prometrium or progesterone supplements "really" affect temps?  I've been taking it for 6 days and only in the past 2 days has my temp been significantly higher.

@lotam240:  It should definitely raise your temps - significantly.  I do not know if it takes a while to show up in your system...

@septcabride:  Thanks.  That's what I'm afraid of.  I "MAY" have taken prometrium again without my doctor telling me to this month.  In my defense, she never called me back to tell me if I should or shouldn't, so I figured, better safe than sorry.  But she threw me for a curveball when she wanted to do a blood test for the levels again because she realized she took them too early, so now they're artificially high because my temp is way up as well.  I guess I should have followed doctor's orders!

@jaguar: Um, yeah.  If you are not KU, I am going to stop charting.  Because if that isn't what a pregnant chart looks like, I don't know what is.  When is your doctor's appointment?

Based on temps, it is *possible* that you O'ed later (like at the most recent big dip), but the rest of your symptoms don't line up with that.

Jaguar, that high spike today makes me wonder if you just Oed and these higher temps are your body finally getting into a temp range where you'll have a more regular cycle. Chin up, babe.

I'm an infrequent poster but I love to read everybody's stories and hear about their charts!

    Me:  29

    DH:  31

Came off the Pill mid-February, first month of trying was April 2011, I'm now 4DPO on cycle seven.  So far regular cycles, no interventions and I'm yet to need to POAS!  I have no known fertility issues other than a LP of only ten days.

@lotam240:  Thanks!  It's so tempting to test at this point...But I know it would just be setting myself up for disappointment.  FF wants me to wait until 10/25, but that is obviously NOT going to happen!

@jaguar: Wow...no matter when you O'd, it looks good!  I'm still leaning towards CD40 though because every temp since would be above the coverline.  I know that's not idea (BD-wise)l, but with your long cycles, a strong O is a good thing.  I hope the RE provides some answers!

Question for the charters, my temps went down .2° at 9 dpo, this morning at 10 dpo, they were back up to day 8 temps + a few hundreths.  I set my alarm at 7 and woke up and temped, 36.78.  Then I went back to sleep.  When I woke up at 10:30 I thought I'd temp again "just for fun", temp was 36.93.  It's totally cheating if I record that higher temp, right?

@jaguar:  I think I'm going to stick to the first temp, I really would feel like I was I cheating if I changed it and they make such a big deal about temping consistently at the same time so.  Maybe that 36.9 will be for tomorrow, fingers crossed!

@chastenet: Yes, cheating : )  Don't worry about individual low temps...nothing matters by itself.  Also remember you can have an implantation dip. I haven't seen it very often, but it is a possibility...  I bet it will be nice and high all on its own tomorrow.

On a similar note...I had a couple of glasses of wine last night and I'm "ignoring" the fact that it might have artifially inflated my temp : )

@Mrs Green Grass:   It's good to hear you haven't seen many charts with an implantation dip - I was feeling like that was really common.  I'm also glad to hear one low temp isn't anything to worry about.

I'm hoping my temp goes up again tomorrow.  We were traveling this weekend (different time zone and altititude) so I'm not sure how much that effects your temp - mainly the altitude part!
