    Hi ladies!

    Continued from here:

    http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/charters-of-the-hive-part-ii

Let's share our charts and help interpret/analyze them :)

    I'll start:

Charters of the Hive - PART III : wedding Screen Shot 2011 11 27 At 8.48.40 PMThe last two temps may have been slightly effected by alcohol as we were with friends for Thanksgiving weekend, although I did try and have lots of water and go easy on the wine.  I've also been trying to convince myself that my chart is triphasic ;)

this cycle, i've have much higher temps pre-O than the last 3 cycles. the only thing that's changed is that we've turned on our heater and changed to flannel sheets bc it's cold in our un-insulated house!

just wondering if any other ladies have experienced this big shift before!

we're TTA and just figuring out my cycle now before TTC next spring.

Well, here's mine. The up/down with the negative OPK's and dodgy 9-day-high-but-no-peak reading on the Clearblue Fertility Monitor have basically told me that this cycle is, again, annovulatory.

I see the RE on Wednesday for follow up, since this was my first Clomid cycle.

@jaguar: You just need a little higher dose : (  Hopefully 100mg will do it? (That's the next dose right?)

@Mrs Green Grass: I doubt it - I was only on 25mg this time - I will ask him for stronger, but he's already told me that he likes to play it safe with Clomid. I bet he'll put me on 50mg AT A PUSH.

@jaguar: Oh wow...I honestly haven't heard of less than 50.  Everything I've read says 50, then 100, then 150.  I've seen a few ppl at 200, but it looks like most docs don't go there.  Keep us updated...

@jaguar: The only place I've heard about less than 50 is in the book Making Babies. The doctor in that book put one of her PCOS patients on 10mgs of clomid and she ovulated. But I think that would be really, really rare.

@BirdofaFeather:  I guess the temperature in your room could play a part in making your temps higher, but it is kind of strange that despite having AF, your temps are still not below your previous cover line.  I don't really know what to say about that...

I won't even post my chart yet, at CD 8 there is really nothing going on :)

I do wonder though, do you girls see a correlation between your chart every other month.  For instance, similar O times when you are ovulating on the same sides, since it switches every month?  I just noticed that, if I follow the every other pattern, I tend to O sooner on the side I'm on this month.  It's been 11 and 13 as opposed to the 16 and 17 for the other months.  Just wondering if anyone else noticed this too :)

@ecomaha: i actually see such a pattern on my charts. i tend to O earlier on my left side than on my right. and my left side cycles are 29 days, my right side cycles are more like 31-33.

@elchalten:  Thanks - thats very interesting!  this is our 4th cycle so i'm just starting to notice more trends.  i'm not sure what side I O on yet, I can't really feel too much of a distinct pain at the time.  It helps to know though that we can probably expect an early O.  :)

@chastenet:yeah, i've been googling a ton and looking at TCOYF and some say it shouldn't effect it too much and others say they've seen the same thing. i guess i'll just keep plugging away at charting and watch the patterns. FF just tried to tell me that I O'd two days ago, but I'm ignoring it since i've had no CM at all and it would be almost 20 days earlier than every other cycle I've had! I'm glad I'm doing this (charting, off BCP, etc) now instead of right before we TTC. i would go batty!

Well, I'm back on progesterone so I'm not going to bother with charting for a while - ok, I probably will, but it won't be anything exciting or newsworthy. Here's to next cycle!

    @Mrs Green Grass: Exactly! :)

I like charting, it's good for me since it's very routine.. now to just cross fingers for AF soon, so that I can start from scratch & MAYBE see a proper ovulation chart next month?!

I was sick earlier this week, and we missed doing the deed for the 2 days before I ovulated. Think we're still in the running? Or should I just count this month out already?

    Well, crap.

I had my RE visit on Wednesday who told me I hadn't ovulated and to end this cycle... so I continued charting, started taking my progesterone, and stopped OPK & monitor testing. We also haven't BD-ed in a while because the progesterone tablets give me an upset stomach. =/

    Well...

FF and CTP just gave me ovulation crosshairs. Putting me down as potentially ovulating on one of those days I gave up on. I OPK-ed this morning & still got 'negative' and 'high' respectively.

Do you think I actually ovulated... or are my temps just playing tricks on me? *head desk*

@abbyful: You totally still have a chance.  Sperm lives up to 5 days.  Fingers crossed!

@jaguar: Jag - at this point you have to be excited just that you may have ovulated on your own.  I know it sucks, but hopefully it's progress.  Maybe with 50mg of Clomid it will happen a little sooner next month.  Are you going to wait it out 14ish days or use Provera? Just don't beat yourself up about the BDing.  It's really hard to be on top of your game all the time.  DH and I are so tired of BDing when we don't really want to.  It's hard to keep it fun.  It's going to work soon, i know it!

@Mrs Green Grass: I'm halfway through my course of drugs for this cycle to end, so I'm going to just keep going with them. No point stopping now, especially if it wasn't an ovulation event, you know? I'd rather start fresh.

I still feel so frustrated, though. Like... seriously? I think I'd had enough of this cycle and just wanted it to be over, but I sort of wish I'd continued OPKing just in case. I need to start over! :)

@Jag - I know : (  I would be totally frustrated too.  That's what I wonder about the CBFM too...does it matter if you just start on like day 10?  Neither you, nor me, need to start on Day 6.  Longer cycles really make OPKs difficult (and each stick is like almost a dollar!)

@Mrs Green Grass: I know! It just seems so wasteful - and let's face it, I can't afford to use the CBEFM if every cycle is 40-50 days long! The OPK sticks I don't mind, since I use the elcheapos for the day to day.

Thanks for the support. I should be excited to see a potential O, but instead, it just feels like I wasted our first potential opportunity in months & months!!!

I started this thread with my chart at 11dpo, I thought I show you ladies the final thing.  I stopped temping now at 18dpo so as not to drive myself crazy.

@abbyful:  Check out my chart, you are definitely still in the running!

@jaguar:  It's hard to tell, your temps point to yes, but other signs don't necessarily confirm.  Let's be positive and say, yes, and that with the Clomid increase this month it'll happen earlier for you!!!

Yeah, we are taking this cycle "off" (as far as not OPKing daily, etc), but I thought it would be good to start charting so I can see my body's patterns since I've never been able to before. :)

I'm getting frustrated.  It seems like every month when I get in my fertile window I start to sleep really poorly.  I usually temp at 4:45 a.m.  and around the time I'm expecting to O I'll wake up several times in the night.  1:30, 3:15, etc.  So it makes it really hard to get an accurate reading.  At least it seems like it doesn't affect my temps TOO much, still frustrating.  I guess we'll just BD a lot and know that we did all we could no matter what :)

This is my chart so far:

@ecomaha: Looks like that spike might be right on time... BD'ing frequently will definitely help up your chances of a BFP! :)

I'm hanging out at CD10. I've been a bad charter... I've had a hell of a time trying to get up at the same time each day this cycle for some reason. It's usually within a half an hour or so. Today, though, I was an hour and 15 minutes later than usual. CM is wet, increased sex drive (YAY! lol), CP seems high. I know it's early to have a spike, but my chart did something similar last cycle!

Yeah, I'm hoping that my temps stay up.  I woke up SO hot this morning that I'm staying cautiously opptimistic about the temp spike :)

I don't know about everyone else but I never seem to be able to test at I exactly the same time everyday.  Just doesn't work with me and how I sleep :)  However, I have noticed that my temps stay pretty much the same, so I never adjust them.  Just so you don't think 15 minutes is going to make or break it for you :)
