@Yellow.Clover:  Thanks for starting….and the ecard? SO TRUE! LOVE!!!!!

Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying:  CD29 of Cycle #5, but trying for almost 7 months (long cycles). Pregnancy and early miscarriage in cycle #3. Still waiting for ovulation this cycle.

Age (if you care to share): 30.5

Chart:

Estimated POAS date:  No idea, haven’t ovulated yet.

Issues if any: Long and unpredictable cycles. I never know when ovulation will occur.

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): charting, OPKs, checking CP and CM. Taking Vitex, B-100, prenatal, vitamin D + calcium, Softcups after sex. Have tried pre-seed, Mucinex, grapefruit juice….but not continuing with them. We almost always finish in the pregnancy position (PP), and we’re TRYING for at least every other day BD timing. DH is on Maca root.

For fun, if money were no object and you could leave tomorrow, where would you go for a vacation?:  England to visit family and show DH where and how I grew up, and then skip over to Scotland, and maybe Norway to see the land my DH hails from (ancestrally).

@Yellow.Clover:  Love the card.  Reminded me of a conversation I had with my best friend today who got accidentally pg (with her husband).  I was staying with her this past weekend and let it slip that I started spotting 10 days before my period was due, so she thought I might be pg since she experienced IB.  I told her today I wasn’t and her response was, “at least you still get to enjoy sex.”  My exact thoughts were – “you’ve never *tried* to get pregnant, and if you did, you’d know that it’s really not that much fun.”  So, that card couldn’t come at a more perfect time for me. :)

Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD -1 (AF is in the building, she just hasn’t fully arrived yet).  We are moving into our 6th cycle.

Age (if you care to share): 31

Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/hardtoconcentrate

Estimated POAS date: Feb 18th

Issues if any:  None that we know of.  DH had a prostate infection but luckily that cleared up this month.

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): I tried green tea, Mucinex and Bromelain last cycle.  This cycle I’m keeping it au natural.  We’ll try for every day in the window.

For fun, if money were no object and you could leave tomorrow, where would you go for a vacation?:  Hawaii.  I just want to be warm!

@anotherbee:  Thanks love…….just keepin on keepin on until it does!

@hardtoconcentrate:  “at least you still get to enjoy sex.”  BAHAHAHAHA RIGHT! Pretty sure the only time I enjoy sex these days is directly after AF leaves the building and it’s for pure enjoyment only. Anything after CD10 and it’s just to bang it out and put another X on my chart. It was fun for the first month off BCP, then it started to get a little wearing, and now I wake up some mornings and my first thought is “ugh….do I HAVE to?!”.

@Yellow.Clover:  Totally….you KNOW how stupid my friends are being! haha And…don’t know if I mentioned it before. I grew up in Oldham (just outside Manchester), and we moved to Canada when I was 13. I’m more Canadian now than English, and have been a citizen for about 8-9 years. I also don’t have an accent, unless I’m around my parents or other English people – it’s like speaking a foreign language fluently, it just comes out when appropriate. My dad’s side of the family is all in Canada now, but my mum’s side of the family is still in England (with the exception of my 24-yr old cousin, she moved here on a work Visa last year and intends to stay).

@Yellow.Clover:  Yep, me too, these threads are my savior at times.  I have 1 friend of my 4 closest with kids who legitimately planned the baby, i.e., “tried,” and it took her 4 cycles.  So we’ve surpassed my friend who even had to “try.”  We talked about HI for our HM too but DH had been there and we wanted something new for both of us.  I hate flying, too, but have somehow made it through a couple of international trips this year. Right about now, I think I’d be okay with it just to get out of this 20 degree weather, though!

@MrsPuddingface:  Yep, exactly.  This is from the girl who has gotten pg twice with them accidentally not pulling out ONE TIME (both times).  Granted, she had a m/c at 9 weeks with the first, so they certainly haven’t had an easy path.  But, for them, the baby-making part is a piece of cake.  I’m impressed by your persistence.  I was about to give up on day 4 straight of sex, so I can’t imagine being on CD29 and still going strong EOD.  Kudos to you, my dear.

Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying:  CD27/7DPO  and we’re on our 6th cycle

Age (if you care to share): 34 nearing the dreaded 35

Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/405dc6

Estimated POAS date: January 28th (FF adjusted based on theoretical O date)

Issues if any: Had hormonal issues leaning to PCOS when I was younger/heavier. Came off BCP at the end of July and cycles have been long and possibly annovulatory much of the time. Awaiting referral to fertility specialist and the results of last week’s blood work. Currently nursing a nasty sore throat so I don’t entirely trust my temp spike this AM.

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): Trying to time to O through charting and OPK. Did well this month. Taking a prenatal and vitamin D. Softcups and Yes Baby lubricant if we remember.

For fun, if money were no object and you could leave tomorrow, where would you go for a vacation?: Tahiti! Galapagos! Somewhere we’ve never been and could never afford.

Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying:  CD 19 of cycle #2

Age (if you care to share):  25

Chart:   http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/doxielove

Estimated POAS date:  Feb 7 – tentative based on last cycle…waiting for O…

Issues if any:  Hmm.  Short LP?  Ranging between 8-11 (based on 5 cycles of charting off BCP)

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc):  Trying for EOD timing.  Taking B-complex to potentially lengthen short LP.

For fun, if money were no object and you could leave tomorrow, where would you go for a vacation?:  The Seychelles.  I’m settling for CA, though.  Ha.  Going there in a few weeks to visit a friend…looking forward to a girls weekend!!!

Thanks for starting this @Yellow.Clover: !

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD18 and this is #3 I think.

Age (if you care to share): 29

Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3c5e65

Estimated POAS date: No idea. Given that it’s Jan 22 already and still waiting for O, Ill say mid-Feb, if I POAS at all. Found more comfort in not POAS last month and waited to see what my temps did in my LP before seeing another dissapointing stick showing one lonely line.

Issues if any: Long/irregular cycles

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): This cycle, following RE’s cue’s. Taking new thyroid meds, and a B complex, prenatal.. but that’s about it. BD’ing only when we feeling like it this time instead of the EOD pattern that nearly killed us by the end of last cycles 99 days of torture lol.

For fun, if money were no object and you could leave tomorrow, where would you go for a vacation?: I’d have to say Bora Bora! A few weeks in one of those water huts sounds delightful ;)

And… just for fun….had to share this one!

@MrsPuddingface:  oh my goodness love! Just saw your chart… it looks like some of my previous ones! How frustrating. I’m keeping everything crossed you get your O soon… I know how frustrating it is. I also totally get the “banging it out” thing and not really enjoying it. After AF it’s one thing, because then I really want it, and it’s all fun. After that at night, its like a mental check… “how many days has it been? What cycle day is it? Ughh.. yep.. he should probably stick it in”. LOL. It’s SO bad.. but SO true. Last night I was determined and then i think by asking myself the list of questions in my head, I fell asleep ha ha. Decided to give it a go this mornign despite the fact my eggs are being watched and are no where close to where they should be for O. Oh well.

I love when people say “oh, trying is the FUN part!!”. Oh yeah? Tell me exactly what is “fun” about it, because last time I checked the fun part wore off after the first cycle.

PS. It’s cold as #%$# here in Canada today! All my fellow Cdn bee’s totally get it, but brrrrr. Nothing says “let’s get it on tonight” like -20 degrees, cold hands and feet and shoveling snow in the dark. Bring on the spring!

Hi ladies!  Sorry I’ve been MIA.  Last week was crazy with my back, work and then the inauguration and folks coming into town.

Cycle Day and Cycles trying:  CD17, 4 cycles, 6 months

Age (if you care to share): 30

Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/bogb

Estimated POAS date: Feb. 3

Issues if any: PCOS

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): Prenatal, charting, evening primrose oil, opks (though I haven’t quite figured those out), gluten free diet and checking cm.  trying to time bd EOD or so.

For fun, if money were no object and you could leave tomorrow, where would you go for a vacation?:  DH really wanted to go to Italy for our honeymoon and we haven’t yet made it, so I’d love to take him there.

Roll Call: After some gentle persuasion this will be my first full cycle charting. I started last April before we started TTC to see if I would O and gave up after less than a week.

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD5, 6 months – 2 cycles

Age (if you care to share): 26

Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3acd61

Estimated POAS date: It’s a mystery – it will depend if I O or not

Issues if any: PCOS – irregular and annovulatory cycles, Graves Disease

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): Have beein taking my metformin religiously and upping my doses for the first time ever (THANK GOD for the extended release version!) since Jan 1. Hope this will kick start O. Following the sperm meets egg plan as best as we can with my cycles. Will start BD CD 11 every other day until I get a positive OPK (if at all as i’ve never had one) and see what my temps do – I feel like we may be in this for the long haul this cycle as we haven’t had the chance with my stupid cyckes to go hard core like this before. I think I was a bit naive when we first started this just hoping we would get lucky forst time round. Wishful thinking.

For fun, if money were no object and you could leave tomorrow, where would you go for a vacation?: Probably Europe as we haven’t been and have always wanted to go or back to the states. Love it there – particularly Vegas.
