@MrsPuddingface:  From the previous thread...I agree. I can understand because I didn't know anything about anything when I first joined, but then over time I realized that it can just get tiring over there. But that's why I'm here! You lovely ladies :)

@ScottishMrs:  Great idea on that BFP thread!

@krystallite:  I was wondering where the heck you were! I was checking out your chart earlier, and I actually think you already Od - on CD22. If you get another high temp tomorrow you'll get CH. Your sore nipples is what convinced me - I always get that after O! ;)

@MrsPuddingface: I'm here! And thanks for checkin me out *wink*. I know, I was thinking the same thing! It looks like CD22 was the day. I had sore nipples my last cycle too, but it was right before O. Doesn't make a difference, as long as I O I guess! Although I must admit, I'd rather it be in a day or 2 so I can get in more BDing!

@MrsPuddingface:  in response to your post from the last thread:   Yay! We're rounding up quite the Disney posse here! ;) And...how big is your DH, if you don't mind my asking? Mine is 6'4" and 300lbs. He's not so wide as he's just big everywhere. I wondered how that would work on rides.

My DH is 5' 11' and 300 lbs. he carries his weight in his belly (the front). We had no problems with any of the rides in Disney World, but DH was quite upset the day we went to Universal because he couldn't go on Rip It Rock It, The Hulk, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (though we did go through the queue because it's a really cool queue), and he just got depressed and gave up at one point. He was able to go on Spirderman, Jurassic Park, and The Mummy (or scorpion king? i can't remember which).

Before going any further, I want to say how glad I am to be joining a group of really supportive and helpful women. I'm not yet actively ttc, but in my heart the journey has already begun. Does that sound cheesy?  P.S. I noticed that some of you kindly sent me friend requests on FF. I am not accepting them, only because I am on a limited time full feature for free offer that is set to expire tomorrow.

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD21, 5 more cycles until we try

Age (if you care to share):  26

    Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/403fbb

    Estimated POAS date: N/A

Issues if any: I have low BBT. I had a blood test and apparently my thyroid hormone levels are within the normal range.

How are you going after your BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): We are still waiting to TTC, but I have begun to take folic acid supplements and surrepticiously purchased a package of Preeseed already.

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: I love to relax with DH after work!

    Here's my roll call!

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD24, 4 cycles but 2nd charting

Age (if you care to share): 26

    Chart:

Estimated POAS date: sometime mid/end of February

Issues if any: none that I know of, just longish cycles

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): Prenatals, VitC, charting. Wanted to BD EOD, but with our work schedules, someone's always tired and we skipped a couple times :( Not sure if I O'd on CD22 yet, but if not, I'm BDing ED til I do!!! Lol

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: DH and I are big on movies. We watch movies alll the time! Snuggling w/my doggie, reading, Houzz app-addicting!

    And @MrsPuddingface: I love that you're so optimistic ;) I'm sure you'll POAS soon!

@ScottishMrs: great thread that got stickied! I also saw @MrsPuddingface: 's thread got stickied too! which is a great addition for the new ttc'ers (or gals that just want to know how their body works) I wouldn't mind the charters getting stickied along with the poas, but we're all active enough to keep them up top and there's already a lot of stickys.

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD33/13DPO 3rd cycle charting/tta'ing

Age (if you care to share): 24 DH is 28

    Chart:
    http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Woodstock
    http://www.tcoyf.com/members/cricket88/charts/3.aspx

Estimated POAS date: If AF doesn't come tomorrow... I'm busting out a test for Friday. But only because DH and I may have jumped the gun by a day :-/ I'm 99% positive we're fine, my temp is down 2 days in a row and I've been a little crampy... but yea we'll see.

Issues if any: none I don't think. Other than the fact that it appears that my O date tends to be later than the 'average' day 14-15.

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): N/A

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: Hiking, swimming, outdoors stuff, and hanging with my puppies (and Dh too lol)

Hi charting ladies! This is my first month charting, but I'm a convert :)

    Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD 23, 3rd cycle (but this is screwy because of MC, so 2nd actively trying)

Age (if you care to share): 24

    Chart:

Estimated POAS date: 13th (AF due date)

Issues if any: MC in December

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): BD during fertile time as determined by OPKs and CM

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: Spending time with DH and DD, movie nights and reading!

To more experienced charters, how is my chart looking for a BFP this month? Is it possible that the temperature dip on CD 18 is an implatation dip? Had a BFN this morning, but I'm only 9 DPO so I'm not getting too down in the mouth about it.

Edit: Just figured out that pesky linking problem haha.

    Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD 7, cycle 2

Age (if you care to share): 23. DH is 26

    Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/40dd37

Estimated POAS date: Will only POAS if AF is late, so Feb 28

Issues if any: no known issues

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): Just taking prenatals. Trying EOD after AF, and trying ED during projected fertile window. Tempting and charting and checking CM to help pinpoint O.

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: DH and I love watching movies, either renting or we watch a lot on Netflix. Spending time with our precious niece. She was born into an unfortunate situation, and DH and I try our best to give her the love and attention any child deserves. As long as nobody minds, here is a picture of us the day of the wedding. :)

@NewfieBullet: (Not sure how to tag the last two, since they haven't commented in the current thread)

Thank y'all for the answers regarding CM. Last month was my first month checking for CM, and I didn't get any EWCM, I did get wet/watery CM, especially on O day. I don't have any that I can check externally, on tp or underwear, so I check internally. If I don't get a BFP this cycle, I may try some 'help'.

A new thread/board!  I just got back from a business trip and clearly missed a lot. Will try and catch up but....

    Roll Call!

Cycle Day and Cycles trying:  CD32/3DPO (hopefully)/ Just moved to 6 months and this is cycle 4.

Age (if you care to share): I'm 30, DH is 31.

    Chart:  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/bogb

Estimated POAS date:  If I'm 3DPO, I'm going to POAS on 2/15 or 2/16. Usually I'm good at waiting it out but DH and I are going to Florida on 2/16 for a brief getaway and so I'd like to know before we head out there.

    Issues if any:  PCOS

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc):  Nothing too special.

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?:  I coach HS girls track and am one of those sports obsessed chicas.  I'm super pumped for baseball season to get started.  However, right now DH and I are house hunting so that's my current obsession.

Oh. My. Goodness! You ladies have been on fire overnight :) I clicked on the last page of the previous thread and saw many references to porn, chuckled to myself and thought - I'd best go back a few pages and work out what's going on here. Thanks for the giggles.

    Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD10, cycle 2

Age (if you care to share): 31

    Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/41bd50

Estimated POAS date: Feb 27, that's the day before AF is due, I know I should wait until after...but I'm hopelessly curious and it will be a miracle to hold out even that long!

Issues if any: None that I know of, but seeing as this is the first cycle I've charted, I can't even be sure that I ovulate. One of the many reasons why charting is so awesome :)

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): First month I did nothing except use OPK's and BD'd in the fertile window as much as we could handle. In the meantime I learned about so many amazing things on here, so this time I'm charting my BBT, taking prenatals, still using OPKs and I've bought some green tea and grapefruit juice in the last few days because it can't hurt!!

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: Shop till I drop! Online, in store...wherever the pretty things are!

Question my charting buddies: With the green tea and grapefruit juice...do you just drink them all cycle long are there some times when they are better than others? And, does anyone know WHY they work? Or should I just accept that they do and move on (my approach to high school maths Laughing)

Also...some of you guys take a tonne of vitamins, how do you swallow them all? I struggle with the prenatals they are like horse tablets! Why do they make them so damn big?!

@mysterybee123:  So glad you feel that way!  It really is such a wonderful group.  I love it here.

@lindsayandchris09:  Your niece is absolutely adorable!

@almajele:  Welcome!  Although, I'm hoping you're not here long because you get your sticky baby BFP this cycle with the symptoms you had earlier this week. :)

@Woodstock:  I forget, when are you starting TTC?  Did you say this summer?  I know I could go back and find it but I'm too lazy...

@krystallite:  HI!!  Where you been?!  I agree with MrsPuddingface - I think you might have O'd already, too. Come on, high temps....

@MrsPuddingface:  You're ridiculous.  You'll be carrying around a baby bump by July! ;)

@ScottishMrs:  Thanks for starting!  You're going to make a great TTC hostess. :)

@BOGB: You coach high school track? How cool. That seems like it would be really fun. And I, too, am anxiously awaiting baseball season! Do you have a favorite team?

@MrsPuddingface:  Replying from the last thread!  I try to be as respectful as possible always, especially because i know that TTC can be a very sensitive matter. And thanks for your kind words. I hope it works first try, but we won't know til at least Ocotber haha. though DH and i had a small talk today and i admitted to total baby fever. We dont even have our house set up after moving. haha. he talked a bit of sense into me.  :)

@AnnieGrace:  oh! i put my vitamins in my yogurt and then swallow them in each spoon full.  :)

@lindsayandchris09:  she is so precious! :)

    Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD31, 14DPO

Age (if you care to share): 25

    Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/foxwife

Estimated POAS date: N/A!  FF says Feb 11, but we're not TTC yet. Avoiding for now.

Issues if any:  I thought i had some but each time things seem to change.. so none so far!

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc):  I'm charting to learn about my body and how i work, so i'm using OPKs and taking fish oil to try and regulate my long cycles.

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: I like to sew, knit and draw. I'm a graphic designer so it's built-in.  I also like to play Battleship with DH and watch Chopped and Adventure Time hehe

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: I'm a total summer person so right now, my favorite thing to do is hibernate.  Normally, I love to be outdoors and am a runner....but not in the snow. Frown

@MrsPuddingface: You will get to POAS way before July!!

@lindsayandchris09: Your niece is absolutely precious!

@AnnieGrace: Just wanted to chime in about the green tea and grapefruit juice. From what I've read, you should only drink green tea from AF to O, because it interferes with the body's ability to absorb folic acid. Also, I read that if you take your prenatals in the morning, you should drink the green tea at night to limit the interaction between the two so that your body has time to absorb the folic acid. As for the grapefruit juice, I don't really know how it works but I just started it and I will only be drinking it from AF to O because I am only drinking it to help with my fertile cm and I hate the way it tastes. I don't know why they work, but I am already noticing a difference and I have only been drinking them for two days- a glass of grapefruit juice in the morning and a glass of hot green tea at night. GL!

@FreckledFox: Love the way you take your vitamins, I may have to steal that!

I haven't been able to reply much lately because work has been crazy, but I have been reading the thread and keeping up with everyone. I'm still keeping my FX for us all! :)

@AnnieGrace:  You can stop taking them after you O :). I O later, so I don't even start them until CD10 because they'll definitely be working by the time I O. And I will admit that I often gag on my pills! I have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities though, so I think it's really important that I get extra vitamins in case of pregnancy. I don't want a baby to suffer for my weird diet. Oh, and for the other part of your question, I have no idea why it works :P. Now I want to look that up!

Estimated POAS date: At the moment I think I should be due on the 28th given that my last cycle was 35 days, but honestly, who knows!

Issues if any: Not that we know of

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): We try for EOD and I'm charting (though to be honest, I'm not sure DH knows anything about timing and is just going with the flow!)

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?: Obsess about my chart ;) No, seriously, I love to watch sports and my passion in life is cooking. I make nearly all our meals from scratch (as in no jars of sauce or processed food), though we do still enjoy the odd frozen pizza! Would love to start a blog, but think there's already so many and I don't have any photography skills so I'm not sure I'll ever do it.

@MrsPuddingface:  @Yellow.Clover: @glittermoon: Thank you all so much for the warm welcome onto the charters board. It is making the whole process so much easier!

@FreckledFox:  Well I think it's great that you are charting now before you plan on getting pregnant. It's certainly a learning curve, and you'll be in a much better place planning your pregnancy than I was!

@lindsayandchris09:  Oh my god, your niece is so cute, absolutely adorable. She's a lucky little girl to have you! Also, great that I have a buddy for this cycle, though who knows if I will O when I think I will! But Oing on the 14th would be pretty special :)

@Woodstock:  Gotcha. I think you'll really appreciate that you have a charting background when you start.  That's what I did (starting charting in April and ttc in September), and it made me so much less confused when I started this process. Hopefully it'll make it a quick process for you. :)

@legowife:  You make everything from scratch??  That is so cool.  I love to cook, too, but I haven't taken it that far yet, although I'd love to.  I make spaghetti sauce from scratch, but that's about it.  And I'm a huge sports fan too! This time of year is always tough for me because I feel like there's a lull in sports....but that's because I'm not a hockey or basketball fan.  Wish I was, though, it would make the winter more enjoyable! :)

Okay, I've posted on this board a fewe times in the past, but I think I am going to become an active member, I feel as if I need a bit more support latley.

    Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD 19/ 4 cycle TTC/ 4th off of BCP

Age (if you care to share): 24

    Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/chelles07

Estimated POAS date: Plan to POAS a day after AF is due, so Feb 18th

Issues if any: Cystic Fibrosis resulting in thick CM. I went to the doctor last week to get my thyroid checked out and all of that came back normal.

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc): Evening Primrose oil, Robitussin/Mucinex around fertile window, Softcups after BD, Pregnancy Position, we tried of BD EOD but failed since I o'd a day earlier, charting and OPK's.

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?:
Pinterest, shop, and help DH work on finishing our basement.

I don't have too much hope for this cycle. I have a feeling that I had a lot of thick CM this cycle even though I have been taking mucinex/robitussin. My throat feels as if there is mucous stuck in it even though I do my Airway clearance(for my CF) everyday.

I have a doctor's appt. this Monday and am going to ask him if there is an oral anti-biotic that is safe to take while TTC to try and clear this stuff up. Just hope that he does not admit me, normal CF'ers usually are hospitalized at least twice a year, I haven't been admitted in the last 4.

@hardtoconcentrate:  I'm hoping so. Plus I really like knowing whats going on with me.   It's pretty reasuuring to see that I'm O'ing too especially since I a have family history of issues.

@legowife:  Wow! that's awesome! I would totally follow a blog where someone made everything from scratch. Especially if recipes were posted!

@hardtoconcentrate:  I do make almost all our meals from scratch, it requires some planning and then it's not so hard! Starting with making your own spaghetti sauce is great, that's how I got into making all my own sauces! Though on Friday nights we often eat a take out or have a frozen pizza, so we aren't religious about it. We are sport nuts, Super Bowl is reponsible for my distrupted sleep on Sunday night and temp spike on Monday! DH is into the Basketball, but I'm just not a huge fan. Last year was great as it was the euro soccer and the olympics as well as the usual sports. Right now we are watching rugby!

@Woodstock:  Thanks! Though it can backfire. I decided to make my own Chai mix and made like a whole pound of it when all it takes is 1/2 a teaspoon per cup so we'll be drinking Chai for a really long time!

And I hear you with the family issues TTC, it's always in the back of my mind too.

Wow, you ladies were quite chatty last night, I can't believe how much I missed!

@almajele:  Welcome to charting!  As for the dip in your chart on CD18, I think that is generally too early to be an implantation dip.  It is fairly common to see a dip around 4 or 5DPO, this site http://www.amandabears.com/faq.html#.UMEdjYZ_Cdl  explains it pretty well.  It has some other good FAQs too that may help since you are just starting out.  However, the majority of pregnant charts (about 75% on fertility friend) don't have an implantation dip so I wouldn't worry at all if you don't see one, you could still be pregnant!

@rosworms:  @MrsPuddingface:  Wow, my hubby is 6'3" and about 300 pounds too!  Didn't think that would be so common on here.  He has actually never been to Disney World even when he was a kid, so I can't wait for us to have kids and have him experience it for the first time with them.  We do go to Six Flags though and he hasn't had any problems there.  He carries most of his weight in the tummy too, although he is also pretty broad shouldered which I'm sure helps.  Only issues we have had were on the honeymoon, we couldn't do the horse riding tour and a few of the zip line tours had weight restrictions he didn't qualify for, but we found other zip line tours that had higher weight limits so he could do those.

@ScottishMrs:  Great idea for the BFP thread, I hope it catches on!

    Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying: CD17, Cycle 5

Age (if you care to share): 27

    Chart:   oral temps: www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsEagleEye

                vag temps:  www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsEagleEye2

Estimated POAS date: around Feb 19

Issues if any:  None so far, but we haven't been tested.

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc):  Been taking prenatals since June, we tried to BD EOD until I got closer to O time, then we did every day til my temp spiked.  Also using OPKs.

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?:  First of all, I love when people spell it favourite.  :)  I wish that was the way we spelled it in the US!  My favorite thing to do is hang out with DH, but since we have been house hunting lately my favorite thing right now is to go look at houses together.  We went last night after work to see a model home and loved it!  It's a bit further away from where I work, but I think it might be worth the extra commute.  We are going to price it out next week, I'll let you all know how it goes!

    Roll Call:

Cycle Day and Cycles trying:  CD 35/2nd cycle trying

Age (if you care to share):  25, DH is 28

    Chart:  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/doxielove

Estimated POAS date:  TBD!!  No O detected yet...so who knows!

Issues if any:  None that I'm aware of.

How are you going after you BFP (supplements, BD timing, etc):  Currently taking Vit B complex; trying for EOD timing.  That's about it right now.

For fun, what's your favourite thing to do when you're not on weddingbee?:  DH and I are pretty much homebodies but we do enjoy going out to eat (favs are Italian and good ol steakhouses).  I also enjoy baking, although I haven't been baking a lot recently because I'm trying to loose a few lbs and baking doesn't help that :-P

@ScottishMrs:  @AnnieGrace:  @MrsMonty11:  Livestrong has an explanation of why grapefruit juice may help with CM.  http://www.livestrong.com/article/550900-grapefruit-juice-concentrate-and-cervical-mucus/  I think it's probably also good to keep you hydrated which has other benefits as well.  The first time I heard of this though I read it was a way to favor girls when TTC because I thought they said it made your CM more acidic and the male sperm would not survive as long in it?  I was afraid to try it because I don't want to hurt any sperm's chance of reaching an egg!  If it is just to help thin CM though I may give it a shot next cycle!
