Time for a new thread, the old one is here:

    http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/charters-of-the-hive-x

    Roll Call:

Cycles TTC:  Finishing up cycle 3

    CD/DPO: CD26/8DPO

POAS date: Tomorrow. if no shark week.

Craziest thought you've had since TTC: When I saw someone get a BFP a couple days ago, I knew I wouldn't get one this cycle. For some reason I was SURE that because she got one, I wouldn't.

Well, like a dummy, I waited to long to post my last post so it's on the old thread, but I'll carry it over here:

    @ChuckNorris:  Woop Woop!! Are you a Scorpio also?? Aww...she's precious!! : )

@StaceyA:  I wouldn't count it as not O'ing yet, my charts totally look like that! Last cycle the first four days past O looked like saw teeth.

@MrsPuddingface:  Glad to hear you had a great night! Gotta love peace and quiet and cuddles from our fur babies. My big girl always makes me feel soooo much better! And shark week already??? WTFrench!?? I don't believe you! I don't see it in your future! ; )

    Cross posting from 1+

Well, AFM, AF - Ok wait, I can't even call her that this cycle, I think I've got the "Frankenstorm" in my uterus!! UGH!! - has not been this bad in over three years!! THIS is why I hate going longer than a 30 day cycle. Like really, cramps should not be this BAD! And I know TMI, but I've messed FOUR pairs of pants. Seriously? This morning I was in tears! I came in to work an hour late so that I could soak in a hot bath long enough for they tylenol to kick in. After this morning, I almost want to say, enough is enough TTC or not, I want the LAP surgery! I can't take it any more. Too bad I can't stay on Clomid forever, my periods on it were great!

    CD/DPO: CD2!

POAS date: 11/27 - hopefully if O happens like it's supposed to! : )  I wonder if 11/22 will be too early? I'd totally be thankful for a BFP!!

Craziest thought you've had since TTC: Thinking my purple nips just totally meant I was KTFU!! Haha..

@Yellow.Clover:  I believe it. I'm sure I will be on shark week within the next 48 hours. I know that feeling. And....thanks for reminding me about your purple nipples - I just had another gigglefest over them!!!!! Thanks for cheering me up! ;) haha I'm sorry about the horror flick playing in your uterus - maybe you should get chocolate-wasted tonight? ;) Call in sick for your birthday tomorrow!

That post was right on time!! Channing's my man though... Oh, and someone posted an the absolute hottie on FB last night. Someone said he's the face of 50 shades? Let me find it and I'll post him!! @Yellow.Clover:  I saw a pic you posted of you and hubby from your engagement shoot....one where he's leaning down to kiss you and you're on your tippy-toes......I totally would have pegged you for a Joe-girl! BTW - that was one of the cutest couples pics I've ever seen. I practically swooned! I'm also a wee girl (5'3 and a half") with a big lad (he's 6'4"). I love me a bear of a guy! GRRRARRRRRR!

    Cycles TTC:  "officially" #2 :)

    CD/DPO: CD31/apparently 3DPO but skeptical

POAS date: I'll wait until 14DPO if this O thing actually happened, which would be Nov 10. :)

Craziest thought you've had since TTC: I'm not sure I'd be able to pick just one... lol.

@Yellow.Clover:  thank you for the reassurance hun. That really did make me feel better. I just hope that tomorrow I get some further temp increase, because right now i'm not totally believing FF. My temps were pretty low this cycle though, so it's hard to say.

I had an appt at my RMT as I threw my back out :( My RMT office also has a very well respected acupuncture clinic and I made my first appt for middle of Nov in hopes that maybe it can help with the TTC process. :) Of course, I'm not-so-secretly hoping I can cancel it but.. i figured it wouldn't hurt to book myself in and give it a shot.

Also - Matthew was my #1 pick, but if this guy was on the list I'd totally pick him... Mr. Henrik Lundqvist ..... love!

So, my temp went down again this morning and FF removed my crosshairs. I'm so pissed off/annoyed/confused as to WTF is going on. No idea if I've O'd...

CP is low, firm and closed. Almost no CM (and it's certainly not the fertile stuff). Drive has gone down, but temps still pre-O range it seems.

*sigh*. Totally bummed and not even sure what to do. Haven't done the deed in a couple days as I've thrown my back out, but guess I need to get back on that just in case.

    Ugh.

@CuriousOne:  Morning lady -@MrsEagleEye:  is right, your chart is looking good! How're you feeling???

@StaceyA:  I'm so sorry lovey!!! I totally thought that was it for you, that you definitely O'd. :( Don't you hate when you're SURE, and you get all the BD in that you can, then you find out it wasn't for sure, and you don't even feel like trying again, and it seems all the BD from before was just a waste? I feel for you.....I'm so sorry your body is messing with you like this :( The only thing to do really is to keep on keepin on with the BD - maybe try for every other day until you see some resolution. *HUGS*

@MrsPuddingface:  omg girl, you are too funny. Testicle face made my morning LOL!

I totally feel like all the BD we did was for nothing. Especially those days where I really didn't want it at ALL and decided to put on a game face for the cause. I had those almost + OPKs, EWCM and all the signs pointed to O. But. I guess not. Again, maybe the next couple days will tell, but all my other post O temps have been 97.5+ so this 97.1/97.2 business is terribly confusing.

Ugh. This week just blows. CD32 today and literally no idea where I stand. Blech. :(

@.twist.:  Hi! Welcome love! Do you have an online chart? You should fill out roll-call and link it for us! ;)

@StaceyA:  I know.....last cycle I got 3 days of positive OPK's (full-on positives) on CD12, 13, 14........then didn't O until probably CD25. By the time I actually O'd I didn't even care anymore - I was just over it. I stopped doing OPK's and stopped worrying about it and hoped our not-trying BD would be well-timed in the end. *HUGS* You should drink large amounts of liquor tonight so your body throws an O to make you feel guilty!

    Also, if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about, it's because I don't! LOL :D

@.twist.:  You see up at the top where I made the first post? Where it says Roll Call, copy and paste everything from RollCall, then fill it out for yourself with all your information. This is so that we can all keep track of where we are in our cycles, and so we have easy ways to find links to people's charts if they need someone to check it out and offer advice. The way to share your chart on FF is to go to your chart, and click on the button underneath it that says Share. Choose the second link from the top (the simple link), and copy it. Paste it on here in your Roll Call under Link To Chart. Delete everything before "http", and everything after the "/" that comes after your signifying letters/numbers (it should look something like my link posted in my roll call, but with eo4fh3 or something similar in the place of where mine says MrsPuddingface).

I was getting really bad period cramps the night before last and then they just disappeared yesterday and I feel totally normal again today. My temps dropped that same night, and again last night, I'm trying to convince myself I'm still in with a chance....your chart helped me do that ;)

@.twist.:  No problem! Now, if you've just come off the pill, then your cycle might be slightly out of whack. With a 28-day cycle, the AVERAGE woman will ovulate on CD14, but that's not to say you will. After charting for a few cycles (if it takes more than one for you to get knocked up!) you'll likely find out what CD that generally happens for you. At this point though, your cycle could do anything. Some people regulate right away coming off BCP, some don't. Some women have 60+ day cycles. As a for instance - I came off BCP in July, cycle 1 was O at CD18 and 27 days in length. Cycle 2 was O at CD25 and 39 days in length. This cycle I went back to O at 18 days, not finished my cycle yet. I was lucky though - you'll find on these boards that there are quite a few women struggling with long cycles. THIS is why I started temping and charting. Your cycle could be completely out of whack, completely unpredictable....how will you know when to test? For me charting has been a way to figure out what my body is doing, and when it's doing it. It's given me some level of control over a completely uncontrollable process.
Don't put a ton of pressure on yourself and stress yourself out worrying about it - just go into it knowing that you'll likely have a long cycle, and it's bonus if you don't.
As for where you are right now - that is a HUGE temp jump from yesterday's temp to today's! How are you taking your temp, and what kind of thermometer are you using? When are you taking your temp? That kind of temp jump is pretty abnormal....it looks like your temp for yesterday was crazy low. I don't think it's very likely that you would O on CD11, but if you O'd in a couple of days then this morning's BD (Big Dirty/Baby Dance) would count for sure - they can live inside you for upto 5 days! Unfortunately you won't know what's happening until it all comes out in your temperatures - you have to wait!
And finally.....I really don't think there's such a thing as TMI in the TTC world. I think we've seen it all on here.
If you have questions don't be shy - there are plenty of us to help fill in the gaps for you! :) Hope you have a short but pleasant stay!

    @MrsPuddingface:  wow thank you!

haha I had to laugh about the temp jump, hopefully that isn't normal. Last night I was so excited to get started that I took my temp at about 9pm and then this morning at 6:50am. so, I'm kind of hoping it's a little more normal since I'll be taking it in the morning when I get up. I kind of just got a little excited. HA

I'm taking my temp orally and just with some thermometer I got from a drug store? It wasn't a cheap one but I don't think there is anything fancy about it.

I haven't and don't know anyone who's charted and I don't really have a lot of people to talk to about it so it's nice to have this group.

@.twist.:  If you're taking your temperature orally, it can be affected by if you sleep with your mouth open, if you drink anything (water beside the bed?), and the placement of the thermometer in your mouth. Your temp might fluctuate. If you temp vaginally it's a bit awkward at first, but you get used to it. It's a lot more accurate and less apt to jump around. You will need a waterproof one for this. For your thermometer - you want to make sure you have a BBT (basal body temperature) kind and for accuracy it should show your temp to 2 decimal places, not one (so, 36.56 is better than 36.6). I got mine from Shoppers - it's pink, and it was on the same shelf as the pregnancy and ovulation tests. I think it was something like $18.99?
The main thing though is to take your temp at the same time every morning, and don't move too much before you take it.

@MrsPuddingface:  Great responses to twist girl. I was coming on to give my 2cents but you did me one better! Well done!

@.twist.:  Welcome! And don't worry, there is no such thing as TMI on these boards - trust me. We all talk about the most bizarre and intimate things (things that if we shared with anyone outside this bubble, I'm pretty sure they'd think we had totally gone nuts). If you have any questions about the charting this is a fabulous place to ask. The best advice is to be totally consistent with the temperature taking. I set my alarm for 6am daily and temp then. They say your temps are most accurate after 3 or more hours of consistent sleep, so if you wake up lots during the night you could have skewed results due to this. Good luck, and like MrsPuddingFace said, don't get too stressed about it. There are lots of factors that can impact your temperature so just roll with the punches, and... best of luck on your first cycle trying! It's a super fun and yes, a little nerve wracking process. :) :)

@Yellow.Clover:  I meant to respond to your first post yesterday - you made me laugh with the Frankenstorm in your uterus!! i hope you are starting to feel better. Those first few days can be so painful. I had to laugh about the pants... only because last month i had such an embarrasing event that I didn't share it on here (and yet you can all be made aware of my CM daily lol). Since i had random spotting for a lot of my last cycle, i decided when CD1 hit to wear a pad instead of a tampon, to ensure there was a real "flow" and not just my body messing with me. So, I get to work and cross my legs at my desk and feel like the flood gates opened up. I guess due to the fact my legs were crossed the pad was not in position. I stood up and had bled through not only the entire back/side of my pants, but it was so heavy it was on my chair. Oh yeah. That was awesome. Luckily, I had a spare change of clothes in the car (by sheer miracle) and was able to change but man... how embarrasing. :/

As for me... meh. No idea what's going on still. Did an OPK after work just for kicks and it's surprisingly dark... not + but even darker than some of the ones i had around CD26/27. Insert shoulder shrug HERE.... guess i'll just get it on later ha ha.

Hello ladies!  I am also a newbee to the boards and to charting.  I have already learned so much from lurking and I'm excited to join the group!  I stopped taking the BCP in September and started charting my BBT at CD40 as I was getting very impatient for AF to show up.  I think I've got a general understanding of the method and the dos and don'ts, so right now I am just trying to make sense out of my temps.  And unfortunately since I didn't start from the beginning of my cycle I'm missing data so it's hard to guess at what is going on.  I LOVE DATA so this charting thing is right up my alley. :)  Any observations about my chart is most welcome and appreciated!!

Baby dust to all of you!

Cycles TTC:  Not TTC yet, NTNP and waiting for AF!

    CD/DPO: CD52

POAS date: I took 6 HPT's and a blood test to convince myself that AF is just MIA :-/

@StaceyA:  thanks! I've noticed this place is already more helpful than some of the other baby/parenting boards I've been at. :)

@MrsPuddingface:  That's good to know about not moving too much, I was pretty much up and getting ready before I took it. I don't drink water or snore so hopefully the oral thing works for now, and if not then I guess I'll have to switch to vaginal. :S eep. haha
