    TTC/TTA: TTC! Cycle #2

    CD/DPO: CD 13

    Cycles TTC/Charting: TTC 2; Charting 11

    Age: 27

POAS/AF Date: Right now FF has my official AF day on Feb 3. I think that’s what I put on February POAS as well. It will probably change as I get a legit O date, cave, and test early.

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Practice makes perfect, right? : ) In all seriousness, we’re doing better on our January endeavours than the last few Januarys, but that’s not exactly saying a lot.

For Fun: Do you and your DH/SO have any Valentine’s Day plans? Or how do you typically celebrate?

I don’t know if we’re going to do something. I think MrLemondrop is leaving around then for a field visit to Africa. If he’s home maybe we can get in a fun date.

I hope you don’t mind but I’m posting my question below again, since I posted it just before the previous thread got closed 🙂

I was hoping someone could help me make sense of my chart

FF gave me crosshairs today but I think it’s not correct; the baseline is really low 97.6, when compared to previous months. It also shows that I ovulated on Sunday (CD12) which is the same day that I got my positive OPK on the digital clearblue. I was testing twice a day, it was negative earlier in the day (11am) and positive in the evening (7pm) and then it went back to negative the day after, so it was a really short surge.

I think I ovulated on Tuesday (CD14) but I don’t understand why FF is showing an earlier day, specially ovulation the same day of the positive OPK :S

    Roll Call!

    TTC/TTA: TTC

CD/DPO: 4-5 DPO. Pretty sure FF has my date wrong and that I O’ed overnight CD11-12 based on timing of my OPK’s, CM and previous cycles.

Cycles TTC/Charting: 7th cycle TTC, 4th cycle charting

    Age: Me 31, DH 38

    POAS/AF Date: Jan 28th, within a day

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Stage 1/2 endometriosis, seeing a specialist this month since we’ve been trying 7 cycles, properly timed with no luck. I take prenatals, baby asprin, CoQ10 and drink green tea during my follicular phase instead of black. I use OPK’s twice daily also.

For Fun: Do you and your DH/SO have any Valentine’s Day plans? Or how do you typically celebrate? We don’t really make it a big deal. Honestly, DH has no idea what day it even is lol. He knows it’s in ‘February or March?’ We usually go out to eat sometime that week, have a date night.

Hello hello hello all!  I took a wee break from the Bee last week because of some stressful things happening, and look, a new thread already!  I love how chatty it is.

    TTC/TTA: TTC!

    CD/DPO: CD12

Cycles TTC/Charting: TTC since October 2011

    Age: 26

POAS/AF Date: My cycles are irregular, and this is also my first month on clomid… So I don’t know!  I will update once I O.

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues:  PCOS and one fallopian tube. I had a left hydrosalpinx which was removed in November (the whole tube was removed), and am hoping that the other side is okay.  Currently on our first cycle of clomid (days 3-7) and am hoping to ovulate!

For Fun: Do you and your DH/SO have any Valentine’s Day plans? Or how do you typically celebrate? No big plans as of yet!

@Turtle Bride:  I think you may be correct, seeing as your OPK was so late. FF has no way of knowing that your + OPK was at night, and it’s not uncommon to O the same day. The coverline they gave you looks a bit low. I think FF may change it in a few days.

I’m questioning what FF chose this month also. It was saying CD11, but changed it to CD13 today when I put in my temp. I tend to O overnight, and I think I may have really O’ed overnight between CD11&CD12. I’m curious what you all think? Here’s my reasoning:

I get two kinds of + OPK’s, equal to the control and way darker than the control, which I consider my true +. I always O less than 24 hours after my first + (darker than the control line) OPK, usually closer to 12 hours. I had an = OPK at 9 a.m. on CD 11, almost + at 1 p.m. and fully + at 8 p.m.. On CD 12 I had a + at 6:30 a.m. and 11 p.m., then back to negative the next morning. The watery cm I marked on my chart CD13 was only first thing a.m., it was creamy an hour after I woke up.

I had a very odd slow rise this month, which makes it hard to be certain of my O. My O spike is usually quite obvious. My coverline the last 3 months had been about 97.45/97.55. FF had my Coverline about there when my O was on CD11, but it’s now 97.7, which is way high, almost normal post-O temp high.

@Turtle Bride:  I’m answering you last question from the old thread. I don’t think CM has a direct link to MCs.. or CPs… Progesterone is what you need to maintain a pregnancy.. as long as that # is high enough then it should be okay. I don’t think progesterone shows itself in any CM form so there’s no way to know unless a Dr checks it.  If you are usuall a later ovulator, are you 100% sure these OPKs were positive? I suddenly switched to O-ing CD15-16 for 4 cycles straight when before I was O-ing CD25! It was weird.. I don’t know what changed it.. but I think I”m back to late O-ing now. Exercise, stress, sickness and a few other things can delay ovulation and things like Vitex or other supplements maybe can make it earlier? Not sure!

@Tomato22:  Thanks for starting the new thread!! Nice Poll.  🙂 DH and I are homebodies mostly, hehe.

@misshydra:  FX for this clomid cycle!!!  Hope everything is okay.  🙂
