A few questions: Are you actively TTC? What cycle day are you in? Would you wake up at the same time every day while on vacation?

I voted no, but then I thought about if it were me and I was actively TTC, then I’d say yes, do chart. If a day or two you miss temping it’s okay, but if the times line up to get a few accurate readings then why not?

emmanneliza:  I see. Now, I vote for not temping since you would not be even that close to ovulating. You could perhaps be checking your CM and other fertile signs in the mean time. Oh and BD a lot hehe. 🙂 Have fun!

i say no to charting.  you are on vacay, you are probably going to be BDing every night of it anyway, right?

do you use OPKs, what about using them on vacation instead?

Personally I would to keep my data up to date. We were just on vacation and I set the silent alarm (vibrates on my arm) on my FitBit to wake me up at 6:00 every morning. It wasnt a big deal, hubby never woke up and I was able to go right back to sleep.

emmanneliza:  How long will you be gone? given that you’re 10DPO, you’ll either get BFP or AF 3-5 days. If you get AF, then you’ll have your period for a few days. So if you’re going for a wk, I say enjoy your vacation without temping! If you’re going to be away for 1.5+ wks, I say take your thermometer. Even if you don’t set an alarm to wake up at your normal time, you can get open dotted temps and get some directional reading.
