I'm about to get dressed to go the state fair that we originally weren't going to go to. I'm incredibly excited to go and I'm totally going to try a fried Snickers (I've never had anything abnormal fried). Then tomorrow we'll do our normal bigger breakfast and then head to FBIL's house for football in the late afternoon. I'll probably be having the grey goose/cranberry cocktails tomorrow during the games.
@mandb122: sounds like so much fun! ugh, im so jealous. we haven't done anything FUN since the wedding. i need a break from "life!" and just let loose!
I know, I totally needed a break and we thought we couldn't afford to go to the fair (they're so expensive!) but we figured out a couple of days ago it's totally doable so I'm pretty excited about this!
@mandb122: You will love fried Snickers....just be careful they are addicting! Yum!
My man and I were supposed to go on a nice evening walk tonight, but it started to snow here today! The trails will be far too mucky now. Looks like we're going to have to snuggle up to a nice bottle of wine :) Last weekend we went to a costume party so lets hope this one is a little more low key!

I'm waiting on my pizza to get here. Then I plan on wearing pajamas until forced out of them Monday morning. It's been a rough week.
@IlsaLund: that's my plan for the weekend too! i just need a break from life, we cancelled our usual weekly dinner with the parents, cuz we just want to relax and have some qt together.
We have our street's annual "social" tonight at a neighbour's place, so I have to go get ready for that soon. Tomorrow we have my ex's wedding, I'm so excited for that but puzzled about what to wear. Outdoor ceremony (pretty quick), and then indoor reception at a restaurant. It's cold here though, so I guess I'll have to drag out my long dress coat!
Sunday I'm hoping we'll get a chance to sit down and relax. Watch some movies. Throw some dinner in the crock pot, that kind of stuff. No fried Snickers though, boo :(

We're sitting at home watching the huge list of shows we have stacked up on the dvr. And I'm loving it!

i wish i could be at home, by the fireplace, snuggling to a good movie... or sitting out in the hot tub, enjoying the cool breeze...
i<3 fall weather!!!! and i want to enjoy fall evenings before the snow!
Just got off work! *yay* now gotta get some chores done and dinner so my weekend is free. Listening to piano and violin music to get some ideas for the reception. Anyone have a favorite?
Currently waiting for my husband to get home, we're going over a friend's house to help out with grape leaf rolling for the Lebanese feast our friend does every year. I've got a cross country meet early tomorrow in Bellingham which my awesome husband and doggy will be cheering for me at!
Ut! He just got home! I hope everyone enjoys their friday evenings and their weekends!
We are just sitting at home watching Season 3 of Weeds and have some a rum and coke.
@Nola: Mmmm, best drink ever! I'm having a boring night, but tomorrow is a double date with my best friend, her FI and mine, obviously, lol. We're going to paint pottery in time to give them as Christmas gifts :).
I need tto figure out Christmas still. I only have figured out one thing.
I went to see a Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax show with my husband last night. Reliving the good old 80's and showing my age :) Too much action for a thursday night for me, so tonight after work I'm recovering on the couch. Husband's bbq'ing steaks, then Medium and Grey's Anatomy on Tivo. If I'm lucky I'll get a foot rub too :) Tomorrow we're taking his mom out to dinner to celebrate her promotion at work.

We're doing out family Christmas during Thanksgiving, so I'm down to the wire already, lol. It's not even Halloween and I've technically procrastinated :/.
This weekend we are helping move his parents into their new place.

hey girls, im back in my usual friday night routine. sitting in my civ pro lecture. planning to make grey goose vodka/cranberry juice cocktails and sittin in the hot tub with the hubbs. the next three hours cant go by fast enough!
