I'm trying my hand at making lasagna for the first time. I think it'll taste good but it may not look so pretty!

I am procrastinating because I am packing and moving tomorrow. EHHHH. I will dream about going to the Riviera Maya now and be super jealous!

@PrairieGirl: yum! my first time didnt turn out perfectly... it's so hard to gauge all of the pasta cooking... i suggest pre-cooking the lasagna pasta first and then baking!
@afuturemrsl: thanks for not making me feel guilty for being on the 'bee instead of listening.
i already got called on to brief a case and she (the prof) loved it... so now my brain's completely checked out! :P

jyc I am so jealous you are going to Mexico - I was just in the riviera may for my honeymoon 2 weeks ago. It was AMAZING!!!! Have fun!

i've seen the weather updates and it keeps saying showers/t-storms... but i'm hoping they're short and sporadic???

Watching a tv show about humbolt squid and watching my lover install some sliding shelves in our giant pantry. Hooray for organization!
I just finished dinner and am in the middle of making Red Onion Jam to provide us with some home made snackies for the next week or so mmmmmm :) this stuff would be amazing with brie and crackers
Lying on my couch trying to decide if I have the energy to go get a drink/dessert, or not!
@missjyc: We stayed at the Princess Grand Sunset near Playa Del Carmen - the resort was incredible and the weather was even better. The weather report said that it was going to rain everyday for us too but seriously the weather couldn't have been better! Everyday it was super sunny and hot. It rained twice, once it was light and actually refreshing and didn't last more than an hour; the second time it poured when we were on our way home from the COBA ruins and it didn't last more than 40min. Other days it was wet when we woke up so it must have rained at night but the days were beautiful.
I hope you weather is the same! Where is your resort?
@Future Mrs. Martin: thank u so much for the reassurance! our resort is a in between playa del carmen and cancun... did u go on any excursions? we def want to scuba but we're thinking of making the Xel-Ha trip... what do u recommend??
Working. No I am not on the Bee at work. I would NEVER do anything at work that wasn't even remotely related to work. Never have I ever gotten on Facebook at work (which reminds me, maybe I should go check my Facebook.)
Having date night with my 8 year old. We're eating chinese and watching Disney Channel. My little guy and my oldest bailed onme with my FH for a football game. At least one of my guys love me!! haha

@PrairieGirl: I have an easy awesome recipe for lasagna in a skillet. It definitely doesn't look pretty like a regular lasagna, but it tastes SO good! PM if you want the recipe :)
We're trying our damndest to finish our seating chart...I put this off as long as I possibly could, but the time has come :( Also, we'll be having dinner w/ my parents in about 10 minutes (taco salad) & finishing up some more wedding projects. Yay for helpful Moms!!
@missjyc: We went to Xel-ha it was awesome! It is all-inclusive but the food is less than good. I wasn't feeling so hot the next day. Stick to the snack bar vs. the buffet. Also they don't let you use your sunscreen if it is not biodegradable and the stuff they give you to use sucks - I got so burnt so I would take some biodegradable sunscreen with you. But it is still VERY MUCH worth it!!!!! I loved it!
We also went to the COBA ruins. It is 40min North of Playa del Carmen. They are the last ruins that you can climb and they are not going to let people climb it after next year. All the ruins seem really cool but we went to COBA to say that we climbed it - it was a blast and very educational. We also got to visit a Mayan village and swim in a cenote as part of this excursion - It was a great day!
We also went to Coco Bongo's. If you are into having a great party one night you should go! There is one in Cancun and one in Playa. It is a show and a nightclub and I have never seen anything like it and it is quite the experience!

I'm catching up on my TV shows from the week and hanging out with my husband. He just got back from a week in Alaska.
I'm getting ready to play a wedding here in Atlanta tomorrow with my band "Blue Sky". I learned a couple of new songs for the family - very cool
I'm watching SYTTD Atlanta on TLC. I wish I could get over all of this wedding stuff, but I am still addicted even though I have been married for months!
I am jealous of all the honeymoon talk!

i have an annoying cold right now so i decided to flake out on all my friends and chill at home tonight. my fiance is out of town, so im watching college football and drinking wine..pretty much two of my favorite things to do!
I am DVRing SYTTD and watching "LOST" season 5 with Teddy :) He is gonna be gone all day tomorrow so I figure I can save the wedding stuff for later.
@Prettyinpink89: LOVE "The Tudors". I am so sad that it's over. However, I am looking forward to the new series abt the catholic church that's supposed to start in 2011.
I just made myself a tuna salad sandwich and I am watching SYTTD and browsing FB.
I just got home from a hair cut! My FI is playing Halo Reach and I will probably get back to my Plants vs Zombies game on my iPhone!
