Nope, not gonna happen. Full length bridesamid dresses are not made for anyone her height. They are typically made for someone between 5'7" and 5'8". Can she wear flats? I've always had to pay for extra length =(
BUT, do you know anyone who can sew? My mom made our bridesmaid dresses and the pattern was like $15 and the material was $9.99 a yard--and it was BRIDAL material so it was the nice stuff. She lined the dresses and everything. They came out to $25 apiece and they were easy to do--they were tank style with sashes and they didn't even have zippers on them.
Oh God. They all hit her at her ankles. Grrrr... I guess I could ask someone to make em. But who? Great... Thanks for the information though!
oOoo i dunno. My mom and I have sewed since we were kids. Do you have a crafty aunt or grandma? I feel her pain on the ankes. I feel so stupid in "long" dresses. It's like "here's my feet!"
I'm 5'10" and most of the BM dresses are long enough for me but not until $100 (though, they always try to convince me to order long, then I have to cut off a HUGE section...regular ones I can even wear heels w/ them!)
Also, I had a getaway bridal dress from j.crew, and I had to wear mega heels w/ it...at the time it was on sale for ~70 down from $250ish.
Getting a seamstress is likely to be cheaper, though, if you don't find a good deal.
Thats a tough one, but if she really is that tall, then she could probably find something with extra length. I know Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy all have a great tall selection online. I don't know that any of them would carry long dresses though. What about Ann Taylor? Someone just posted on WB about them having a 30% off coupon till Sunday of this week. They seemed to have a lot of navy.
I shop a lot of the tall girl shops and have never seen something floor length, but that doesn't mean you can't try! maybe you can find a used tall dress?

I have a problem. One of my bridesmaids can only spare $100 for the dress. And on top of that she is 5 feet 10. Everything hits her at her ankles. Anyone know where I can find a full length dress, navy dress for under $100 for a tall girl?
