I would recommend Anita Kline as well. She's inexpensive and great!!!
Giant Eagle cake is sooo good, the Almond Cake is my favorite!
I work at the Giant Eagle Market District (you can get the almond sheet cake at regular Giant Eagles as well!) and it is one of my absolute favorites!!! I've never been big on icing but I love how light and perfectly sweet the almond is!
Also if you like fruit, Golden Delight bakery has a strawberry/kiwi cake that is to die for!!! I grew up with it at many birthday parties hehe. It's light and layered and also perfectly sweet (not too sickly sweet!) and a mocha if that's your thing. If you're more adventurous or familiar with the Asian flavor taro, that's another option there as well!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I went to a bridal expo at Vets Memorial and tasted some white almond cake from the new Giant Eagle Market District in Upper Arlington and it was the best cake of my life. I went to a couple of other cake places, including Short North Piece of Cake, where they were incredibly rude, and then I thought, "Eff it. I'm getting my cake from Giant Eagle." So we are!
We're getting a small two tiered cake for cutting, and a large sheet cake for serving, and it's costing less than $300 (cakes will feed 100 total).
Just a heads up for those on a budget, or those who just like some good old fashioned delicious cake!
