is that even possible? i'm looking for cathedral length in white or diamond white. i've been searching everywhere, but they cost at least $100 and i don't really want to spend that much on beautified tulle. i'm contemplating making it myself, but if there's a cheap source out there, that's one less DIY project for me.
If you can find wide enough tulle, do it yourself. it will be like $20 depending on embellishments. My tip, in addition to those from the bees, is to staple your pattern to the tulle for cutting.
I got 9 yards of tulle for $5 from Joann's, and on the morning of my wedding, my grandmother made a simple drop veil for me by rounding the edges. It was long, and the effect was beautiful and affordable. The trick is finding wide tulle if you want that, though!
I'd say go ahead and do it yourself... get yourself a big old rectangle of tulle, use a dinner plate to trace & cut a curve on the edges, and pin it to your head. It'll take 15 minutes, believe me.
eBay has a decent number of cathedral length veils for under $30, and even under $20.
I found a simple elbow length veil on eBay for $5.25 CAD, plus $3.50 CAD shipping to my place in the States. The seller, ianxnai, was helpful, though she doesn't have any veils on her store at the moment.
