www.lightinthebox.com is an amazing site for dresses. They have tons of styles and colors. The dresses are really cheap but are excellent quality. I got 4 BM dresses from their and they are stunning, and a flower girl dress and it is to die for. The BM dresses were only $79 each, and the flower firl dress was about the same. They look like they cost a couple hundred dollars. It takes a few weeks for them to come, but it is worth it. You can have the dresses made to order. I did this with my BM's, and although the dresses have to be altered a bit, the sizes are pretty close. I would definitely recommend checking it out.
Check the BB rating and search for consumer complaints BEFORE ordering. Also watch if the dress has a lot of lace, cheap versions do not look nearly as good as the designer's.
My cousin bought hers from LIGHT IN THE BOX! It looked amazing! =) Just make sure the dress is not to over the top because it could end up looking really cheap!
Try houseofbrides.com. I bought my dress there and it was $700, a bit more than you stated you wanted to spend, but it was 1000 less than any bridal store, and same brand!
You could try doing an alchemy request on etsy. That's what I did and the lady making my dress is so nice and talented!
preownedweddingdresses.com...new, used, sample with an AMAZING search engine and really good consumer reviews. I have had friends who have bought from them and were very pleased.
I am ordering mine from ebridalsuperstore.com They are an authorized dealer through their sister company I forget the name but it is a big brick and mortar dress store kinda like the walmart of dresses i think. I have not seen any bad reviews of ebridalsuperstore except someone who didnt look at the dress in person first. So find your dress in person and get your size measured. Then you can order it from ebridalsuperstore.com. I got my dress for $200 less
You should definetly try on dress before buying. You dont know what is going to make you look your best on your wedding day until you try it on.
@gulbraa44, I agree, try on dresses first then try and find them online! Saves a ton of money!
hey! im ordering (1) bridemaids dress from Inweddingdress.com just to see how the whole process goes before i order the rest...ill let you know how it goes..i saw so many dresses on there that i wanted for myself but one thing i relaized was it may look good on the rack and look completely different on you. i picked up so many dresses that didnt look great on the hanger but looked amazing on and visa versa...so be careful.

Hey- I have some time before my wedding in the spring, but need to get started on my hunt for a dress now. I have a very, very low budget. I was willing to go up to $500 for something I really love, but have been looking into these websites- inweddingdress and lightinthebox, and am sooo tempted by the prices. I love so many of the pictures on inweddingdress, but the return policy is scary so I am worried about that. Can anyone recommend a site that has a good return policy? Or that you've had a good experience with? I want a pretty casual dress, so I am less worried about having an exact designer knock-off than just getting a pretty, good-quality gown. THANKS!
