I had purchased personalized ribbon from efavormart.com for a friend’s bridal shower. I thought it was super affordable!

Sounds odd but did you think of stamping the ribbon yourself? Then you don’t have to worry about having the placement of the words and the length you want, the words will always be where you want them to be…

I ordered my ribbon from CanadaRibbon.com they have local pickup in Peteborough, or shipping with Canada post 🙂 Was really fast and remember its 50 YARDS so 150 feet, which is awesomely priced when you keep that in mind.

They’re about half the cost of that Amazon, and their ribbon is double sided and it doesn’t tell you how wide the ribbon is from Amazon, vs you know how wide it is from CanadaRibbon

@MissKit:  This tutorial is for transfer-ons:

http://twincess.blogspot.ca/2012/03/how-to-make-your-own-printed-ribbon.html

To actually stamp you just need solvent ink or fabric ink:

Add a name or custom message to ribbon with alphabet stamps and solvent ink that won’t bleed or smear. Make a clean impression by tapping the stamp on the ink pad, lightly pressing the inked stamp onto a piece of scrap paper to remove the excess ink and pressing the stamp onto the ribbon without rocking the stamp.

OR you can write it yourself (if you find the stamp expensive and you only have a smaller amount to do, or have a lot of time) by using a solvent (or fabric)ink pen/marker 🙂

And this way it can be in the colours you want very easily 😀
