I've also seen them for similar prices at Ross, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx. I got a few for our lounge area tables on clearance for $3.00...
A great deal to be had for a candy buffet bride.
Wow, that makes me want to do a candy buffet! I wish I woudl have thought to look there when I was looking for glass jars for my centerpieces....I wonder if I could find them there and then return the more expensive ones to Michaels??
I picked up 5 of them in a IL Marshall's and have seen them in a few other ones so I know it is not just a regional thing!
TJ Maxx and Marshall's is owned by the same company, so they often have the same selection. Check out whatever store is near you, or if you're lucky like Bay Area folks, check em all out! At least in the Daly City/Colma area, Marshall's seemed to have the most stock and selection, but that always changes weekly.
Hells ya!! We got all of ours there!!!!! Even some beautiful large jars on clearance for $5!!!
Thanks for the tip!! I'm going to check them out on Thursday!
I saw them at TJ Maxx too. Just make sure the openings are large enough for people to use scoops to get the candy!
I saw those too! So tempted to buy them, but since I'm not even engaged yet, I'm hestitant to actually buy things. I'm thinking about using them for terrariums for our centerpieces, though, rather than for a candy buffet.
Yes! I bought mine @ TJMaxx, and with a gift card from FI's returned Xmas gifts...lol
this is much need info for me, a bride on a budget, a tight one at that....
ohh thanks for the suggestion=) although i'm not from cali, i will definitely check out the marshalls, tj max, ross in jersey!

Hi Bay Area Bees,
I'm not doing a candy buffet -- but the vast array of really pretty and totally inexpensive apothecary jars perfect for a candy buffet and/or centerpieces at Marshall's in Daly City/Colma made me wish I did!
There are TONS of different shapes of all kinds of glassware at this Marshall's (the one in the David's Bridal/Nordstrom Rack shopping center in Colma). I picked up a bunch of the large cylinder ones for my accent pieces for the reception and gift table (7.99-9.99). Same ones are $25+ across the way at Michael's. Even with the Michael's 40% coupon, the large vases at Marshall's end up cheaper. I wish I had looked here before Michael's. For some reason, I always got stuck in the women's clothes, shoes and kitchenware at this Marshall's, so it was only recently I ventured into the home decor and into the aisle with all the glassware.
Best of luck!
