carnations/garden roses are very full red flowers
as far as the rose petals it depends on how much you want to use to line your aisles. i always use the following calculator....Good Luck!!

Carnations are by far the cheapest flowers. Not love by everyone but in my opinion they look great tightly pack together. Garden roses on the other end are more expensive then regular roses but give the look of a peony.
Oh, have you looked at carnations? They're beautiful when tightly packed, and they aren't expensive - plus they're in full bloom all year round. One of the bees did small red carnation centerpieces and they were beautiful... I'll try to find which one it was....
Here are some pix.. The center tablescape are carnations...

I agree with carnations. I've been really surprised at how awesome they look and I will be including them in my bouquets.
Mrs. Lime did it! They were beautiful.
We also used packed carnation centerpieces in white - they were beautiful!
I"ve been looking for the same thing for my bouquet and I finally decided to order roses, mimi callas and tulips from fiftyflowers and then try to pick up some red peony roses or dahlias at a local shop. I looked at dahlias, garden roses, aisiatic lilies, etc. but they are too pricey to do all the bouquets and centerpieces. So, centerpieces will just be made with tulips, roses and callas.
Lisianthus are fluffy flowers and come in a lot of colours.

So im having pretty small centerpieces due to not a big budget. Can anyone suggest a full flower that could possible make our centerpiece fuller thats not a rose? We are doing black beauty ,black magic, and baccara roses. So im looking for something red and full.
Thanks!
O ps. Anyone have a idea on how many rose petals i would need for 3 flower girl baskets, 8 tabels to line table runners, and possibly down the aisle. Im not sure how much to order online.
Thank you!
