I am in need of about 15 white pillar candles for my reception. The cheapest I can find is about $3.50-4 a candle plus shipping.
Anyone know of a cheaper place?
I’m looking for something 3 or 4 inches wide (wider is preferable but price listed was for 3 inched). And 8 or 9 inches tall.

How tall of a candle are you looking for? The Dollar Tree has small 2.5 inch pillar candles and if you don’t mind them being in glass you can use the taller saint candles they sell in the stores & cover the outside with ribbon or something like that.

Have you tried Ikea? I’m not sure how big you want but they tend to have a large selection.

I’m looking for the SAME thing….but I’ll take scented OR unscented. As long as they fit in my candle holders!
(I’m making these)

I was on the hunt for an affordable pillar candle with just your dimensions myself. I ended up finding mine at Ikea- ~$3.00 for a 3″ wide, 7″ candle. I think I’m going to actually go back and get there 3″ wide, 9″ candle for ~$4.00.
I also third the idea of a dollar store- they often have tons of candles for cheap!
And fianlly, I found 2″ by 9″ white candles in glass at Target for around $1.32 a piece. A little thinner then you wanted, but they look very nice. Look for them in the candle aisle, on a far bottom shelf!

I really wanted pink candles… it was extremely hard to find unscented, colored candles. I ended up buying them at http://www.candlesjustonline.com/index.cfm and thought they were pretty reasonable. They have an 8 in tall candle which comes in a 3-pack for $8.99 (which ends up being $3 per candle). They have a good selection in shape/color/etc.
Hope this helps!

I bought a ton from http://www.quickcandles.com, but I am not sure what they ended up working out to be per candel. They have an ebay store too so check that out too!
