Hello Eastern Ontario bees!

I'm in Eastern Ontario (Kingston-area) and am trying to find a good spot to get vases for the reception, particularly tall cylindrical and/or eiffel tower style vases. I'm looking for something local-ish (Toronto, Ottawa, south-western Quebec, and surrounding areas).

Does anyone know of any good locations? Or any places with great prices and VERY reasonable shipping?

I also posted this on the Toronto and Montreal boards, because I'm about the same distance from Toronto, Montreal & Ottawa.

Have you checked out Wal-Mart, Loblaws, and/or Ikea? You'd be surprised ... using home furnishing stores can be shockingly affordable.

I'm not in canada but I got my vases from my venue! I asked if they had any and they pulled out some amazing vases people just left and were happy to let me reuse them for free... we are using a candle stick type vase... check it out on my bio... http://adaashley.googlepages.com/home

I've also seen cheap ones at Big Lots and Michaels (not srue if either are in Canada as well)

Also did you look at ebay?

I love your idea about asking if the venue has any. They probably don't, because it's not a traditional venue, but I'll try!
I am a regular at Michael's, so I use those sale coupons wisely!

Ikea has great vases for fairly low prices. I am getting nice square vases from there fpor about 3$ each.

I just got really unique vases from Ikea for $1.49 each. I'm not sure if they have what you're looking for but it can't hurt to check and keep checking. I had been checking the vases out at Ikea for months and only now found ones that I liked for a good price.

I'll check next time I'm in Ottawa (Kingston doesn't have an ikea, so it's not always an option.)

I dont know much about cananda but if you have a hobby lobby or michaels they do the 50% off and thats where I got most of my vases. If not there walmart has good prices.
