@HappilyEverAfter54:Might help to have a few more details. What kind of budget? How many guests? What style wedding?
You could try here: http://www.theweddingchapelpa.com/
or here:

Or look at some of the Inns in the area, which will often offer wedding services....
I'm in Central PA also. Without knowing what "affordable" means for you it's difficult to offer advice. I was looking at a few cute places in York. The Stone Mill Inn is adorable and they seem to offer alot for the price.
I've also come to find that in PA its cheaper to do it at a hotel-they offer so much more and don't charge you for minor details like chairs, cups, plates, silverware etc.
If you want to do it outdoor the Lancaster Winery is the most affordable location and they help out so much with details--most places will give you a quote if you email-but even if you think its out of your budget go check it out anyway you never know...
We went to look at Drumore Estates, and the owner is so lovely she worked up a menu that we could afford and her grounds are so pretty there's no real need to decorate and she throws in a tent with lighting and fans.
Ha yes I'm opened to most areas anywhere in PA I'm in central PA close to Harrisburg. Were trying to stay around $5,000 in total.
What about a VFW or an Elks club? Those are always mega cheap and you could just DIY a ton of decor.
@plantains: I checked the Elks already and for some reason they charge as much as most of the local hotels per person... but ill check the VFW
cumberland but im opened to pretty much anywhere in PA at this point.
pretty simple somewhere between smack in the middle of casual and dressy, fun but sweet
ugh sorry that sounded like I'm 2 years old... I'm pretty brain fried / stressed after all this. but yea between casual and dressy (not too much of either) fun but sentimental.
You might be interested in Indian Steps Museum. When I worked there they only charged $50 for you to have your ceremony and use the pavilion. The grounds are stunning, with a great view of the Susquehanna! http://www.indiansteps.org/
Whoa! That is crazy! Some serious daylight robbery going on there.
Oh that's awesome! I hope it works for you!!! :) Keep us posted if you need more help! Or PM me if you'd like.
Were getting married in Mifflintown PA at Laurel Rock Farms. Its a country style feeling but can be dressed up as much as you want.
Hi Brooke, I was wondering how much the rental fee for Laurel Rock Farms was. They don't have much information on their website, but I love the venue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
We sister get married in a church in Palmyra but had her reception at the Campbelltown Fire Hall. The Fire Dept Auxiallary catered it. It was quite nice, although it was five years ago.
Central PA bride here as well! Theres a ton of fire halls and community halls and other sort of places around....specially if you are having a church wedding elsewhere. 5 K is very affordable for a wedding.
There are some nicer places in the Lehigh Valley if you're willing to travel a bit...
@cpaz10: Laurel Rock was $1100 for 2011 just to rent the facilities and it was going to go up in price each year last time we talked to David. You can rent tables and chairs and tents with him also. It is a beautiful barn, we just couldn't afford it. He books up fast too, so if you're looking for this year there might not be any openings. David is a great guy to work with!
i was considering the jcc in York, but we are doing yorktowne with open bar, if you opt for limited bar or cash bar at places it would be cheaper. We needed accomodations for our out of town guests and it is a beautiful location, also the cake, basic linens, tables centerpieces are included. option of sit down or buffet.. we couldnt pass it up with what we needed, i hope you found what you need :)
