Have you checked out http://www.partyspace.com yet?  It’s an excellent resource for Philly-area wedding planning!

How about the Smithville Inn, Rams Head Inn, the Mill at Spring Lake Heights, Flanders in Ocean City? Not sure how much less expensive these are the the traditional country clubs etc, but I think they were a little lower. Good Luck!   http://www.weddingsonlbi.com also has a comprehensive list of venues.

Flanders is very expensive – but OC yaht club is nice! Renault winery is close to shore area and reasonable.

Monmouth University’s library is very nice, and is pretty affordable… it was the building used as Daddy Warbucks’ house in the movie “Annie”.  Look into it, if you haven’t already!

I’m getting married at the Abbie Holmes Estate outside of Avalon. It’s an old farm house that has a conservatory built onto it. They are much cheaper than the usual places- I think they start at $45 pp. Also, Tomasello Winery is nice if you have less than 120. It’s in Hammonton and <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>everything is included for a pretty cheap price.

Thank you! Have you checked the Station House in Dennis Township? I think they might be cheaper.. I have a couple of friend who have had their weddings there.
