Haha, so my brother found this & I thought it'd be awesome to share this with all of yall! This is apparently in St. Louis & this guy, Chris, & girl, Ashley, had been together for 5 years, & he WAS going to propose to her on Valentines Day & she stumbled across the ring so she knew about it. Apparently, a bunch of his friends caught her cheating in a bar with her long-time "best friend", Eric, & told him about it. So....they got her on the radio station & tricked her into thinking Chris was going to propose.
It's a little long but it's hilarious!

Scroll down, go to the Blog, and then scroll down on that page and look for the 2-16-10 post where it says "CHEATING GIRLFRIEND GETS DUMPED BY HER BOYFRIEND LIVE ON THE AIR!"
It's crazy! Bit** be trippin'! :)
OMG, classic! I think he had every right to do it semi-publicly! Sorry girl, but alls fair in love and war!
Yes I agree! LOL at the end she's like "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!" And the guys on the radio are like "YOU CHEATED!!!"
I totally think he should've gotten revenge.
i cant believe she had nerve to actually expect a proposal!!
I can't help but wonder if these things are true... especially around V-day. Even the Rangers proposal denial was a hoax...
that being said, if it's true, good for him!
that's really sad. I feel bad for her. Yes, what she did was wrong, but she still didn't deserve that kind of treatment!
Thanks for sharing! I was also wondering if it was fake since she stayed on the phone for so long. I feel like I would have hung up right away once I found out what was going on. But yeah, I don't feel too sorry for her...
"I Hate you!!!"
"Well she wasn't even a listener so whatever"
hahahahaha this was kind of fantastic(ly horrible). I don't agree with the moral of the story (don't ever believe that her friend is just a friend).... but this girl had it coming.
Yes she did! Haha, I know @Corgi it's hilarious! Me & my brother were cracking up. It may not be true, but who knows...it's too funny either way!!
Of course what she did was wrong, but I think that what he did was really tacky. Way to handle it with maturity and decorum. *eyeroll*
I guess the cheese stands alone, but I think this was really uncalled for and reflects pretty poorly on him. Sounds like he's not ready to be married either, if he thinks this is an acceptable way to behave. She may be a cheater, but he's an infant.
I do have to feel for her because of how public it was...but really, don't cheat!! It's a simple rule!
I'm with Lees4308 on this one...that was HILARIOUS!!! A low blow? Maybe, but still funny. I'm not saying I would ever do that to someone or I would enjoy it happening to me but then again I would never cheat on my FI. Hopefully she learned her less!
As my FI pointed out if the roles were reversed everyone would be cheering her on and tell her to go after him!
@eeh: Thanks girl! I understand why people are saying that they feel bad for her, etc. BUT at the same time, I feel the same way you do...I probably wouldn't handle it that way BUT it IS funny! :) I hope she learned her lesson too!!
Hahahahahahaaha I love when they put him on the air and she is like "Oh my god oh my god oh my god. I need to take a deep breath here."
Wow...that definitely takes a lot of balls, especially b/c they live together, but good for the guy for dumping her!
I know many think she had it coming, but I think public humiliation is cruel. Yeah, she cheated and she cheated publicly and he was right to break up with her. But it's cruel to hold her up to national riducule for a matter that should remain between them.
I'm a fun hater, I know.
ETA: I would feel the same way if the genders were reversed.
I know!! Especially after 5 years! Welp, I hope people know they just can't cheat & expect to get away with it! And I can't believe that she was REALLY expecting a proposal from this guy! Cheating and all, geez!
This was awesome! I heard it when it was on the radio. Woody and Riz are hilarious, they had another one where they caught a guy cheating....absolutley great!
@Spinning: I totally respect your opinion! Like I said earlier, I don't think I could ever do that...who knows...I guess I'd have to actually BE in that situation to know!
@stlginkgo: You live in that city?! Crazy!!! They ARE hilarious! LOL I've never heard any radio guy's like that!
Tha Rangers proposal denial was a HOAX? What?!!
Next y'all are gonna tell me that Santa isn't real.
@Lees: You're right, it's hard to know what I would do myself if I were hurt like that. Hopefully I wouldn't act like that, but people do lash out.
I loved it! She deserved it. And as far as humiliation goes she could have hung up at any time. Poor guy, I can't imagine!
I also loved it and if someone I trusted for 5 yrs and was going to marry cheated on me... oooh they should expect much worse. Thanks this was hialrious!
That was kinda of funny, the radio hosts were cracked me up when they were like "you weren't a listener any way".
People do some odd and sometimes hurtful things when the heart is involved. I guess he wanted to embrass her like she embrassed him. I can't say I would have done the same thing, but I guess I wouldn't know because I've never been in that situation.
Bwahaha! That's the station I listen to! I frikkin love those 2 DJs.
well if she knew her friend was looking for something else why she keep going out with him and to bars ALONE!!
im sorry i do think the boyfriend did something wrong but he was mad with with all the reasons to be mad...
this was hilarious
Ouch!! hahahahaha Thats harsh but she cheated on him so thats karma
That was incredibly harsh. And yet I don't feel bad for her, just embarrased. Especially when she wouldn't hang up the phone when she started crying. She could have made him look like the ass if she wanted to; he's breaking up with her on the radio, not even in person! I'd say they're both lacking in self-respect and just made a bad situation worse. Two thumbs down. :(
I dunno, I think he handled it better than a lot of people might, he didn't scream and yell and freak out he just got even. Probably felt pretty damned good, after all that time I think I would have done WAY worse (but I'm half Italian and a scorpio so I do have a fiery streak)! Yeah he probably could have been more tactful but for those of you who haven't been cheated on . . . you don't always think clearly. Cheating is such a screwy thing but I will say her comments about knowing she wanted to be with him forever . . . well those comments made me feel like she got what she deserved because if that's the way you treat someone you want to be with forever then you've got issues!
that is the best karma it comes back around and bites you in the bottom ha ha
