Omg those are fantastic!!!!! GREAT job!!!!! Also if you have a cuttlebug or bigshot, you can get the sizzix plate which has polka dots for your stationery. It is very subtle but striking.
That is adorable! And the upsidedown wine glass is a great idea. Are you gluing/taping them on top, or will they be loose?
I love it! I would think the fabric of the mirror (or both?) would work really well. You could even reuse these in your house after the wedding.
I may borrow this idea to decorate my very bare living room, if you don't mind.
i'm speechless, it's really unique! i'd be so surprised if i attended a wedding that uses your DIY pomanderr!!!
If I saw this at a wedding I would go away saying wow. Totally cool!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how you made this! I am in love with them.
Love this! It looks amazing. Would you mind sharing a tutorial on how you did it?
Can you please post hot you did this? Are you putting them on something at your wedding?? Thanks they look great!
Thanks guys!! I'll take some pictures this weekend and post a tutorial in the DIY section. :)
@rycrafty: I think I'm going to use the clear packing tape (sounds ghetto but you can't see it at all) by rolling a little strip of it and placing it between the styrofoam ball on the bottom of the pomander and the glass. This way the stemware doesn't get ruined!
@Anna7548: They'll be placed on either teal squares of fabric or mirrors and surrounded by tealight candles at the reception!
Wow that looks awesome! So unique and anyone can personalize that to their own colors/patterns! Can't wait to see your tutorial!
Love it!! What a unique idea, and the pomander is so well made! Good job!
Those are awesome! If only there were a way I could incorporate zebra print into my wedding as tactfully as you did...hahaha.
I posted the tutorial in the DIY section for those of you that asked!! :)
It's a grueling project but I sure love the outcome!! Thanks for the feedback!

How about making some (if there are pews that is) ribbon pomanders for the aisle in a coordinating color and style?
Those look great :)
@bellenga: I've considered it but I don't think I want add another 10 to the DIY list... these are taking me about 3-4 hours a pop and I already plan to make 20 of them for the reception! Ha!! I am doing DIY flower pomanders for the aisles though, they only take me like 10 minutes :)
This is really cute! There is a bride that is selling teal votive holders I think her screen name was BlueCrab. 70 for $30 or something like that

I've been meaning to post this for a while... I wanted a unique centerpiece that would be something the guests noticed/remembered and I love being crafty so a DIY project was right up my alley! I saw a ribbon topiary on the 'bee and gave it my own twist...
Our colors are black & white with teal accents. Oh, and I love polka dots and stripes and am doing my best to tastefully encorporate them into the reception decor (mostly polka dots). :)
Let me know what you think!
** The ribbon pomanders will be placed atop different stemware (flipped upsidedown) so they'll be in varying heights. The linens will be black, with white china. I'll be setting the centerpieces either on a square of teal fabric or a mirror (TBD) with 5 tealight candles around it.
