I think it is creepy. I do not want to worry about eatting a pet fish when I cut the cake.
How are the fish even getting enough air if the top of the glass is blocked off by the top tier of cake? yikes. Definitely creepy. The cake doesn't even look like it goes together with the fish....weird color combo, and very strange concept.
Maybe if they colour coordinated the fish.. betas or something? I'd be afraid of one dying and them all the cake photos would have dead fish in them!
Ewwwww...I don't even like to look at the fish in the tank when I go to a chinese restaurant.
Fish are not decor items. They shouldn't be used as centerpieces and they shouldn't be used as cake supports. :(
That's about as bad a fish tank being installed in a car...yea seen that before to.
that even grosses me out a little lol Man... this gives me an idea for a cake competition though!
yesssss.... I posted about this just yesterday!
it cracks me up - to each their own I guess!
Ga-ross. What if one of them croaks in front of guests?!
It's gross. No one wants to see fish poo near the cake.
I went to a wedding last year where the bride used fish in her centerpiece and moments before the reception, I saw the groom and the groomsmen pour rocks into the centerpieces with the fishes already INside....it was a horrible fate for those fishies. :(
i think it is both creepy and very cruel.
Those glasses are not big enough for one fish, let alone two. Fish don't transport well. What if the glasses were not cleaned properly and they slowly died?! What happens to them afterwards. also, do they get fed? when you feed them, they would poo long strings in the water and that would look gross.
I'm sorry but I think it is very cruel to do that to a fish.
I don't think it really looks so nice but it is a creative idea. I too wonder how they breathe in there. i also wonder if the cake will suck in the moisture of the watter because that would gross me out!
I think the fish part looks okay, but the rest of the cake looks thrown together. I've always had fish though, so they don't bother me.
Poor fishy! Imagine what they are thinking when they see the knife come near them... OK, so I am speaking as if I was the fish.:)
interesting..very interesting... I like it but--- not sure i'd do it for my wedding...
I don't understand the cake in general. Why did they put that ugly blue on it. It runied what could have been an okay cake. The fish just look like a cheap attempt at creativity.

I was stalking one of my favourite blogs - cakewrecks, and I saw this!!
I would never ever have thought about putting live fishies in my cake, even if I was having a beach/ocean theme.
What do you bees think? Cool? Creative? Creepy?
