I like rockin robin. That song would probably get people back out on to the dance floor after the father/daughter dance. So I say go for it.
My only question is how are you going to dance with your grandpa to Chantilly Lace? I wouldn't know how to, but if you are comfortable with it, then go for it. You could always ask them what songs they'd like to dance to.
Walk like an egyptian is such a fun childhood memory for me too! But I like rockin robin, I think more people will know it and will dance along. I adore the Sinatra song you chose, I think its perfect. The last one I'm not sure I'm familiar with. Maybe your Mother remembers a song he used to like that will help you decide? She may have a fond memory which would end up making the dance mean a lot to her also.

First the Father Daughter Song i was thinking "Till there was you" by the Beatles The Beatles are easily my dad's favorite Band and teh song is sweet with out being too mushy or pervy. But i wanted to end the song by going into one of our favorites from when i was a kid get goofy and sing and dance in the living room songs either "Walk like an Egyptian" by the bangles or "Rockin Robin" Cute or two weird Thoughts on which song?
2nd my paternal grandfather asked if we can have a special dance. He's a huge sinatra fan and is always dressed very dapper I was thinking "The way you look tonight" by frank
I told my mom this and she said you cant dance with one and not dance with the other. Her dad is more 50's era music fan and a little more playful I was thinking "Chantilly Lace" by Big Bopper But if you have any other sugestions by all means
These dances arent going to be clear the dance floor type dances, the DJ will let me know when they are qued up and i will ask them to dance with me
Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?
