@coffeekitty: Personally I like the rondelle cheese spread, but be sure to include a knife. I love laughing cow cheese, but I know it's reccomended as a "low fat cheese fix" on a lot of diets and it's harder to spread.
If you're putting these in the bags how are you going to keep them cold? Will they be in a fridge? I'm just thinking so they won't go bad.
Also Laughing Cow is always on my shopping list :)
@june42011: Both are pasturized and shelf-stable. No refrigeration needed.
I just love the name laughing cow and would be amused to receive that in my bag. Never had either of them, however.
@coffeekitty - Really?! I had no idea. lol. We took the laughing Cow with us on a road trip and it got really yucky! Which is why it made me think that, but thats good to know, now maybe I'll have to add to my bags!
@june42011: in what way did it get "yucky"? did it melt from the heat in the car?
I'm not a big fan of pepper... so I vote for the laughing cow cheese.
Now I'm worried that people might not realize that laughing cow is OK out of the fridge. Do you guys think most people know that?
Laughing cow... but don't pick swiss!!
I gnerally don't like cheese out of the fridge but I've seen Laughing Cow on display and not cold, so I assumed it was okay when not cold. I probably wouldn't want to eat it that way, though. Do the hotel rooms have mini fridges?
@coffeekitty - I think that had to be it. They started out in the cooler and then we forgot to put them back in there, so maybe it was the going from cold to hot.
If your worried you could always do a test run and leave some out and see, but if its shelf stable then it should be fine, it was probably just the heat from direct sunlight or a combination of things.
I had no idea they were ok outside of refrigeration. My local store always sells it refrigerated.
I lurrrrrv laughing cow cheese! Especially on a bagel! But that's just me lol
Love Laughing Cow! And its super easy to spread! We use it on bagels, sandwiches and with crackers. It IS lowfat, but it doesn't taste that way. I've got two different flavors sitting in my fridge right now! Yum! :)
I love laughing cow! I was recently introduced to it. My Mother had the swiss and I was like, "Yuck, I hate swiss, get it away from me". Then she made me eat it anyway and it was great. As well as low cal. I bought it and have been eating it withc crackers for a week! Yum. I think it would be a cool idea to have some laughing cow and some individual ritz cracker packages. You wouldn't even need anything to spread it with, laughing cow is really soft.
@june42011: ok. i eat laughing cow cheese all the time. keep it in my desk at work, so i'm not worried about it going bad, but i have noticed that some people don't like the texture of it, which is why i was thinking about the rondele.
I justed looked on their website because I was curious about the no refrigeration part. I'm not sure how long "limited length of time is" though...
Do The Laughing Cow® Wedges need to be refrigerated?
For the best taste and texture, it is best to store wedges in the refrigerator. However, they can be safely stored in cool, dry conditions for a limited length of time, and are great for adding to lunch boxes or taking to work for a quick snack.
I've had the rondele one on a plane and it was pretty awesome. I love the idea of cheese!
Is there a big price difference?
@EvaBostonTerrier: very interesting! my grocery store keeps them on the shelf, so i assumed they NEVER needed refrigeration. This might be a "Score 1" for the rondele. Thank you!
@MissBuffalo: haha! that is where i had it too. and i loved it as well. even though the poll is tipping for laughing cow, i'm not convinced that rondele is out of the running!
i'm just about out of work. will check back on these polls and a couple other threads in an hour or so. keep the votes coming!

I know you are probably sick of my food polls. Lol. I hope to be done soon! Thank you so much for helping!
Which cheese, if presented with crackers in an out of town bag, would you be most likely to eat.
