I had the same feeling of dress envy, but without an unlimited budget, I was brought back to reality pretty quickly!

@daniellemybelle: HAHAHA!!! If not for WeddingBee I would never have known what Chivari chairs were. My FI will never know because we aren't having it either.

Yes, I think it's a very pretty choice - I love all of this year's Vera Wang dresses, I think if I'd been spending that sort of money, I'd have definitely been trying some of her dresses on.

I wouldn't go holding your breath on Prince William though...I think it might be some time (if ever!) plus, actual royalty rarely get to pick there own dream dress, I think there's a lot of pressure on them to choose something "appropriate"....

Oh I love Vera so much! That dress is gorgeous!!! I would *love* to have worn a Vera but it was $10,000 sooo I found one that reminded me of it :)
@oracle: I didn't even look at the chairs until everyone mentioned the lack of chivari- those look like the chairs my venue is ordering this spring!
Wow the skirt on that dress is stunning! I would've thought she's go for a sleeker, more body hugging type gown. But she does look beautiful!

President Clinton has had a few major open heart surgeries, and I think he has never fully recovered
so my brush with fame - when i went to Vera Wang in NYC in Dececmber looking for dresses, the back room of the studio was closed off for a "private appointment". from a slightly open curtain plus a mirror, we saw it was Vera Wang herself who was back there. Once in a dressing room, i asked my consultant who was back there and it was Chelsea Clinton!! My mom and I both saw Vera and Chelsea when they were done and walking out of the appt. No Hilary, but lots of secret service dudes. it was very very excited!!
the dress is beautiful, but very Vera style. and she has PLENTY of dresses that are much more reasonable priced! i don't think i tried on anything that was over 5K - remember, Chelsea's was completely custom, so that hikes the price. they were all beautiful but just not my style. actually my mother ended up getting one of the colored VW wedding dresses to wear as MOB.
Her dress is so elegant. I'm obsessed with it! She looks so happy and gorgeous.
Oh the replicas will be rolling out soon, I am sure. Gorgeous dress, beautiful bride and brought a tear to my eye! I always liked the Clintons.
