I finally got through to the doctor on call and he thinks it’s pleurisy, not a heart issue. I am SO relieved because I did NOT want to go to the hospital. Even if I had insurance, I hate those places.
Unfortunately, almost every piece of advice online tells you to go. And it’s really hard to differentiate between a pulled muscle or actual heart pain. Ugh!
No one wants to be the person who ignores something serious and then pays the price for it.
Anyway, thank you all again for such quick and great advice. This is why I stick around:)
XOXO Have a great weekend everyone!

@PutABirdOnIt: See my response at the bottom of your last post. Cardiac pain almost never hurts when you take a deep breath. That is almost always either muscular or respiratory.
http://www.healthlinkbc.ca is a great resource for decision making re seeking or not seeking health care. It is the same tool used by many NurseLines. You just enter the problem you are having e.g Chest problem and do the Check your Sumptoms.

@both Julies: Thank you SO much. I appreciate the link and I will bookmark it for the future.
The pain is really bothering me but at least I know I’m not gonna croak this time:) I just have to mainline Advil and push through the weekend.
And now I’ve gone from worried to pissed because I can’t do my yoga, which requires nothing BUT deep breathing. Lol
