I believe Front Room serves both Milwaukee and Chicago (and madison) but they are based in Milwaukee.

We used Amanda for our wedding, and she was FANTASTIC – when we booked her, she was actually just her own independent photographer, but now she is offically with Front Room.

But from what I hear, you can’t go wrong with any of their photographers.

Those cities aren’t too far off from each other.  I imagine most photographers would travel for it, but you are going to have to shell out extra bucks for that to happen.

We used Jim Martin from Photos by Robert in Arlington Heights, IL.  He was excellent- everyone has been complimenting our photographs.  He is very reasonably priced for the amount of experience he has and he owns his own business.  That might give him a little bit of extra flexiblity to be able to do something like this and not charge too ridiculous weird.

Another option would be to find 2 different photographers with similar styles.

I used Todd James. He photographed our wedding this past March. He’s a photojournalistic type who captured the day and the emotions perfectly. Great to work with, so professional, and amazing at what he does. Highly recommend him if his style suits your photography type!!

avchicago3:  I think just about any photographer who serves Chicago or Milwaukee will do shoots in both places; it’s possible some may charge you a travel fee but I doubt it would be significant since the cities are so close to each other.  I’d find a photographer whose work you love first and then work out the travel piece.

avchicago3:  Where are you planning on getting married? We are in the Chicago north suburbs but we’re thinking Milwaukee>Chicago just because of prices :/
