Even though I'm getting married in Philly, I would love to come to a Chicago Bee meetup! A weeknight happy hour would be great.
I'm still rather new and would love to meet up with everyone. I think this meetup would help me stop procrastinating in planning the last minute details. 
Either weekend works for me. Piece? Koobah? spanish tapas+sangria?

We're split on weekend/weekday...lets pick a date and then we can figure out where to meet!
How about Tuesday April 21st? Tuesdays always seem open for me and it's inbetween both weekends.
How about Sidebar on Lasalle and Wacker? Tuesdays is 1/2 price bottles of wine! Just throwing an idea out there!
@LittleBear, I love that idea. 1/2 price bottles are great :) :) I'm more partial to weeknights, because we are now entering shower/bachelorette party season, so the weekends are booking up fast!
ooh, I play volleyball in a rec league on Tuesdays. I might be able to get a sub, but I'll see. Would Wed the 22nd or Thurs the 23rd work, just in case?
I'd love to come, but I wouldn't be able to make it on the 22nd or 23rd--that's my wedding crunch time! The week before would be good, though.
The week before is fine too. Maybe Wed. the 15th or Thur. the 16th?

I wish I could make it! What a wonderful idea. Quad Cities is about 3 hours away, so it's a little tough to make it, but I do love hanging out in Chicago. Maybe we could plan something for later on this summer? Us Quad City brides could carpool. :)
Thursday the 16th is cool with me. I'm sure we can find another weeknight deal somewhere.
i would love to meet all the chicago bees!!... unfortunately i'm living in pittsburgh for the next year and won't be in town in april..

That last week in April is OUT for me (my mom will be in town, then we're leaving for Jamaica!), but Thursday the 16th should work for me. I think someone threw that date out there?
I would love to meet all the Chicago bees even though my wedding will be in Michigan. I am in total agreement about the weekday meeting. The weekends are getting crazy as the weather gets warmer.

Are we thinking a happy hour type thing with drinks and apps? Any other suggestions of where we should go or is Piece what we want? Maybe somewhere centrally located that is easy to get to right after work?
Piece is fine with me (though I've never been), but we're up for other suggestions if you ladies have any.
Is 7 or 7:30pm ok? Then we won't be out too late for whoever has to get up before the sun does (*I'm raising my hand!*)
I'm going to have to take the train into the city after work as well, but I get off early so it shouldn't be a problem.
Should we pick a place that is convenient to the train? I think Piece is close to the blue line. I'm not sure. Or if people are taking the metra, we can go somewhere in the loop.
Rivers is nice. It's on the main floor of the Merc on Wacker and Madison. Close to Union Station and Ogilvy as well as all the trains and loop busses. Or really anywhere in the loop is close too.
There's also outdoor seating and we could get lucky with the weather! :)
The loop would be more convenient for me and Miss Mascara (who are taking the Metra in)--if that's ok with the the rest of you ladies.

Rivers would be great! They do close at 9. Would we be able to meet up at 7:00?
If Rivers is close to public transportation for everyone, then that is fine with me!

Are we still on for Thursday night ladies? I took the metra back downtown last night and Rivers is only a block or two from the train for those coming from the burbs. It is really easy to find.

I can still do this Thursday at Rivers. How about an earlier time since they close at 9:00? Maybe 5:30 or 6:00? That will give those coming from the 'burbs and in the city time to get there and plenty of time for us to chat and eat and drink
I forgot to look at the boards for a week or two and missed the talk about a meet up. I'd love to join. Is it still on for Thursday the 16th? How much fun!

Oh I am the worst about keeping up with boards! I am so sadly just seeing this!!! I would have loved to do my Best Lady representing for Miss Meatball! Rats!
Oi, i just checked my camera (which is basically attached to me at the hip) and I realized I'm out of batteries (with no time to charge them before I head out to the city tonight)!
Hope someone is planning to bring a camera!
ps. MaPo--I'm sad you can't make it, too. wish there was a way to send a message to all the Chicago users when something like this comes up.

Hey Chicago Bees!
I was just thinking that it would be fun to plan another Chicago bee meetup (I didn't get to make it to the one in December). Plus, there are a few more Chicago Bees now (shout out to Miss Mascara, Miss Stiletto, and Miss Quiche!)
Anyone up for it? Suggestions about where and when to meet?
I'm going to be busy the week before Easter and Easter weekend, but what about the weekends of April 17-18 or 24-25? Sundays don't usually work for me, but we could also do a weeknight?
