Downtown no, but if you are willing to venture out to the burbs - I have two. One where my ring is currently hanging out and one where my mom has gotten her rings back in the day and has gone back to get them redone and resized. Both are fantastic family owned places.

Obvi these are far for ya and I am sure there are some great ones in the city - but I can highly recommend both of these.

@AshleyR83: I got my ring from Windy City Diamonds on Madison & Wabash downtown. I am so in love with my ring that I recommend this jeweler to everyone I know. A co-worker recently got engaged and her FI got her ring from WCD based on my recommendation. She is equally as happy. After that, two of our co-workers needed their rings sized and they have gone there. It takes less than a day and they have the best service!!

@AshleyR83: Sorry, just saw your reply now! I worked with Garry Zimmerman who owns the store and owns another business selling diamonds in wholesale to other jewelers. He was fantastic and highly recommend working with him!
Hi! This might be a little late but our jeweler is fantastic. They are on Jeweler's Row and they are called Hy Spreckman. We have done custom work, repair work, etc. and have been very happy. They are actually jewelers we want to continually use. Good luck! Don't mind their website, they are wholesalers and typically sell their work to local jewelry stores but they do work privately.

Hi ladies, I need to get my engagement ring resized. The setting is Vatche but according to the Vatche website, there aren't any Vatche retailers in Chicago. Does anyone have recommendations for a great jeweler in the downtown area? Thanks!
