My photographer Kurt Gerber from Gerber + Scarpelli had in his contract the engagement session included in his overall price. Both of us hate taking pictures so even though it was "complimentary" we declined.
We were happy with our wedding pictures, we had some obligatory "posed" pictures even though we had originally said no posed pictures (Kurt said that for family's sake we would regret not having them and in hindsight I would agree) - you can check out our slideshow at:
Elle at Gracefuleye Studios did ours last summer. I had found her on CL when she was looking to build her portfolio, and she did the shoot for free, and only had us pay for the DVD of images.
I'm assuming that she's more established now, so she probably won't be free, but she might still be offering deals. Good luck!
We loved our engagement/wedding photographer - Michael Rastall. You can check out his work/prices on his website. I think I will have my pro photos back in a few days and then I will post a ton/do my official review of Michael.

My photographer for our e-session was awesome! His name is Steve Tabaluyan, and his website is http://www.stphotogallery.com/. He is just starting off, but he did a great job for our session at a very very reasonable price. A few of our pics are on his website.

Chicago Bees, I'm looking for a photographer to do an engagement session. I haven't booked a photographer for my wedding yet (still looking). I wanted to have the same photographer do both but I haven't made up my mind yet.
Does anyone know someone who does good work for a on-location (in the city) shoot? I am welcome to finding students or those who want to build their portfolios!
