I'm a Chicago girl but I've been out of the country for a while. If you do it after I get home, I'll go! It would have to be mid-April or later.

Since I am new to Chicago, I really dont have any suggestions on what we should do. Any thoughts? Also, what days are best for everyone? I honestly prefer Sunday afternoons....
@bestbuddies: Sunday afternoons are good for me too (just not May 1st....I have a friend's engagement party in NYC).
I've only been in Chicago for about two years, but there are plenty of places to meet downtown. If we wanted to get really fancy, we could all meet for high tea at the Drake Hotel. I imagine we'd need a reservation for that depending on the size of the group...so everyone would have to be super committed! Or we could just meet at a restaurant in River North...that's sort of central.
Sunday afternoons are fine for me too, although we should keep in mind that April 24th is Easter and May 8th is Mother's Day, so both of those Sundays probably wouldn't be best for everyone. I couldn't make it on April 17th either as I'll be flying home from Philly that evening...
We might have to get into mid-May for everyone to make it on a Sunday afternoon... that's totally fine with me but we could also think about doing a weeknight. I'm usually pretty flexible then.
And like @vaness13181 said, River North might be a good central location that has lots of restaurants around.

Honestly ladies the whole month of May is out of the question for me. LOL Its me and my DH birthdays plus I am traveling for work a lot that month.
Any sundays in late april work or should we shoot for June?
Oh, I could do something Monday-Thursday too. It does not have to be Sunday. its just Monday-Thursday I work so it would have to be an after 5 pm thing but I am fine with that too.

I haven't heard anything since this initial thread was started last week - I am still in if someone wants to pick a date! Maybe a weeknight after folks get off work, around 6 or 7?
I would be interested in attending a meetup. How about one or two poeple set it up with date/location . We can have another date a month or two afterwards when others can make the next date?
Let me look on metromix to see if there are any good deals on cocktails in River North/Loop.

Hello Ladies!
I always wanted to be part of a wedding bee meet up but living in such a small town makes it impossible. We just moved to Chicago and so I declare a Chicago meet up! lol I got married last summer but I thought I could give some advice or share my experience with some soon to be brides and hopefully some other wives would join too!
