Hey Chicago girlies, I was thinking that it's been too long since we've had a meetup! So why don't we get together!
I am free basically whenever, so let's throw out some dates and get ready to have some fun!
What do you girls think? When would be a good time to meet?
I'd love to meet up! Any evening after work sounds good to me. I live in the West Loop and I'd prefer somewhere close to public transportation.
I second the motion for near public transportation. I take the El everywhere, so that would be really convenient for me.
Oh! And weekends are always great for me anytime, but weekdays are the days I am good by either 6p or 7p, depending on location
I'm usually pretty available and work downtown as well...anybody have some specific dates they want to throw out there?

This sounds like fun! I missed the last one and would love to meet up downtown on a weeknight! How about August 11th somewhere downtown (just throwing a date out there!)

Why don't we say 6:00 since that seems to work for a lot of us? And somewhere in the loop or River North?
Here are some places we can think about: Flatwater (Clark & the river), Hub 51 (Hubbard & Dearborn), Tavern at the Park (Randolph & Michigan). Any other suggestions?

I'll be at the Cubs - Phillies game (AKA Mr. Yogi vs. Mrs. Yogi) on the 11th.
If I'm waiting on him to get out of work before heading north, and the meetup is close to my job I will definitely stop by.
August 11th works for me as well! River North sounds good to me. I'll throw out A MANO (under Bin 36, buy House of Blues) as a suggestion - they have $10 wine carafes on Tuesday nights 
Woooo! I'm around and should be available :) I usually leave work in the Loop around 4:30-ish, so should anyone want to meet up before the other ladies join at 6, lemme know!
A Mano is great! I vote for there (and I work right across the street 
)! Miss. Stiletto, I am done at 5 and could meet early too.

So glad to see a Chicago meetup since I missed the last one! August 11th works for me as well, and I must say, $10 carafes sound very tempting.
I'm sorry to miss it - I had so much fun at the last one! But "Psycho" is playing in Grant Park that night, and FI and I have had it marked on our calendar since the beginning of the summer. (Side note: I think "psycho" will be a pretty apt description of my mental state on the 11th - I'll be just a week and a half from the wedding!) Anyway, have fun and I look forward to seeing the photos!

I can go at 5 and then head to the game. Its close to my job so I'll probably be there at 5:01 :)

I'll try and make it! I work downtown in the Loop and get off work at 5, so I could probably be there around 5:30.
Awww sad, I have a meeting with a client and her florist that evening! I don't think you guys will still be around at 8pm, huh? hehe
Not sure of what my mental state will be like on the 11th, and I might be too busy with wedding projects to go into the city for the meetup. But I promise to try really hard to come! If I don't make it...HAVE FUN!
This is great - I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone in 'real life'! :) Did we decide on a location? Hub51 or Mano? I will most likely be there at 5:30.

The 11th is no good for me...We'll be just getting back from our marathon and my sister flies home from China that day! (After 2 years away, yay for sisters coming home)!

I could do the 11th! I get off work at 6p (my hours changed) so I could cab over and be there by 6:20p. Woot!
I think I could be there too! I'm with Quiche and wouldn't mind Riiver North! I vote Motel Bar, Kitschn Rver North, or Japonais because I work in that building and am terribly lazy :)
Hey Chicago Girls! Just a reminder about our meetup next Tuesday the 11th!
I think we agreed to A Mano on Dearborn between Kinzie and the River...right? Some of us will be there around 5:00 but come when you can! We will get a big table. Also, bring pictures if you have already gotten hitched!
