are you looking for a wedding dress seamstress (complex dress, simple?) or one for normal alterations?
I'm going to Miss Coutre (North/Clybourn) and it's running around $400 but that's largely because my dress has a fair amount of lace/ribbon that will have to be re-aligned when it's sized.
Yelp has a fair amount of good seamstress reviews for everyday wear.
I'm also going to Ms Couture on Clybourne. Mine is costing $225 to take off prob abt 2 inches through the bodice, add boning and the bustle. My dress is satin w/ lace on top of it.

Hello Hive,
Just a quick question for all you bees in Chicago. Does anyone know of a good and reasonably priced seamstress in Chicago area (preferably downtown)?
Thank you!
