There’s a wonderful rooftop bar at The Wit Hotel on State and Lake. Gorgeous views, open air when it’s nice, fireplaces when it’s cold. No idea what it would cost for a private party up there but it’s one of my favorite spots in the city, elegant without being stuffy, and chic without being stupidly trendy. It looks like a gorgeous room that happens to have a bar in it, and not a nightclub.

Cancer Survivor’s Garden!!  You could get married under the atrium.  We got married there this past May and it was perfect!  Skyline view to the North, view of the lake to the East, Museum campus to the South.  We also had a trolley.  Randolph dead ends in front of the garden so the trolley could park there with no issues from the cops.  Read my other posts and my Yelp review on it.  A real hidden treasure in the city.  MSG me with any questions. πŸ™‚

Lightology has a GORGEOUS roof top that would be amazing to get married at if you’re having that small wedding.

@ohmybears48:  Do you have any information about how to contact them?  I have tried multiple times & am getting no response.

@hansey12:  Here is the direct line to Park Services – 312.742.5369.  I used this number through our whole planning process.  Also check all the PDFs online that you can download with forms, pricing, etc.  They will answer a lot of your questions.  GL!

Thanks so much for that info.  Unfortunately, the fiance nixed the idea of the Cancer Survivor’s garden.  I thought it was beautiful and so did he, but his father passed from cancer a couple years ago and he just wasn’t comfortable with it.  But I am going to look at the other parks.
