My fiance and I just booked Cafe Brauer in the Lincoln Park Zoo for our July 13 wedding! We're beyond thrilled -- it's the absolute perfect venue for us. The issue is that we are paying the wedding ourselves and even though it was a little bit out of our price range we're making it work. Has anyone had their wedding there or working with any of their approved venues? We're trying to figure out who is the cheapest company in each of their respective fields (catering, dj, flowers). I'd appreciate any help any of you wonderfiul bees could give me! Thanks :)

Oooh I saw Cafe Brauer as I was taking the bus home a few weeks ago and thought that it would be a beautiful venue for a wedding but I couldn't find anything on the price range for it!

I just picked up The Knot Magazine Chicago edition (I know, not supposed to talk about TK on here, but until WeddingBee has a magazine, I'm still gonna buy the TK one!) and they had a featured wedding that took place at Cafe Brauer - looked beautiful!!

Sorry I can't help with info on the other vendors, but please update this because my best friend and I are both doing research on Chicago weddings!

I used to work for Levy Restaurants, and while I don't know if they'll be the least expensive, they do have a wide variety of options and everyone is really nice there. A few Florists who work with a lot of budgets are Flor del Monte and Asrai Gardens. Cafe Brauer is beautiful! I considered it for our reception, too. :)
