I am 95% sure I am having my reception there, I am going in next week to put down a a deposit. It's such a beautiful venue! They have been super attentive to my questions and seem really flexible.
It's brand new and really well maintained, and the prices are comparable to other hotels in the area.
My aunt went to one of the first weddings there, it was an Indian one that did the ceremony and reception there, 600 people, huge buffets of food (Indian and American), horse and carriage, etc., and she said it was flawless. I figure if they can handle all of that without breaking a sweat, my reception won't be a problem.
I haven't found any reviews either, since it's so new, but if you book there let me know!
Navybride!
I actually already booked a ballroom for next year! We'll be doing our reception in the Nirvana Ballroom, which is one of the smaller ones - capacity 230 :) I totally agree with what you said about the staff - they are super attentive and accomodating. Good luck with the final booking!!

Hi Bees,
Just wondering if anybody has ever attended OR held their wedding at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center? Its fairly new and I have yet to find any reviews about the service and/or vendors they work with. I have already seen the premises and am happy so far with the few times I've met the staff but any first-hand real wedding info would really help!
thanks Hive!!
