I love love love Jane Green! Also, Kristin Harmel- the first book I read of hers was Italian for Beginners, and I was hooked!
I love Adriana Trigiani, Jane Green, Marian Keyes (though her later books got a little darker) Cathy Kelly, Jennifer Weiner, and Mary Kay Andrews, Sophie Kinsella. My favorite author though is Jen Lancaster- she writes memoirs of her life, not fiction, but they are lighthearted and so, so funny- start with her first one, Bitter is the New Black.
Definitely Marian Keyes and Jennifer Weiner. Also, check out Nora Roberts Bride Quartet series. They're not the usual Nora Roberts type books. Very cute and easy chick lit reads.
Jen Lancaster is my absolute FAV chick-lit writer! I actually went to a book signing of hers, I love her so much (and I never go to those things!)
Isabelle Wolfe - her later books are amazingly well written. Also, Carole Matthews, and I second Marian Keyes.
Marian Keyes is my absolute FAVORITE. Everything by her is good, but I really liked This Charming Man and Anybody Out There.
Marian Keyes, Sheila O'flanagan, & Celia Ahern are usually good reads.
@McVerde: Anybody out there was my favorite one by her!! I wasn't crazy about THis Charming Man.
@iHeartTwinkies: Did you read her newest one? I've read the others except that. I just ordered it from Aamzon. I havent heard much about it yet. If you read it, was it as good as the others?
Not really chick lit, but I recommend anything by Nicholas Sparks and Project Everlasting.

I am in need of some new reading material and I was wondering if anyone had any good chick lit recommendations. I just got done reading all of Emily Griffin's books and I wish she had more!
