It’s a very pretty bridesmaid dress, but I don’t think of Chiffon as a winter material. But if you love it, go with it.

since it’s a winter wedding and your dress is satin I would look for ethier long chiffon dresses – not strapless- in dark colors or do satin for them as well. The dress u have there is too summery.

i think a long chiffon dress would be better for a winter wedding. chiffon and short are both usually summer kind of dresses

I think the dresses will work fine together. Yes it will be winter, but women do go to cocktail parties and other formal parties in the winter and they do wear sleeveless and short dresses, even to very formal events. They will be inside.

Keep in mind that there are also other fabric choices. You are not limited to chiffon. A black crepe dress could be a staple of their wardrobe for years to come.

Futuremrsjohn:  I think these could work but I also think that satin would look really pretty too. There are so many different satin styles now that they can look really flowy and romantic like chiffon.

Something like this would be really pretty!

I love the dress, too, and it’s definitely something they could wear again. I think though, that a longer dress or one in a heavier material, like satin, would coordinate with your dress a bit better, like the one @lalavla suggested. ..
